1. Friendly hug - this person is your good pal, and you just wanna give them a fond squeeze to let them know.

2. Romantic hug - you just want to be closer, so wrap your arms around them, maybe rub their back some...

3. Bear hug - maybe you haven't seen them in a while, so how about a giant hug that lifts them off their feet 

4. Hug from behind - surprise them, guess who?! or maybe they're having a bad day, cheer them up.

5. Awkward hug - maybe it's on accident, but whatever the case is, you can't help but feel a little nervous about hugging them. 

6. Reluctant hug - whoever this person is, you have to hug them, better make it quick! 

7. "I'm sorry!" hug - actions speak louder than words, will this person get the message?

8. Give a little extra hug - give them a kiss with it, cheek, shoulder nuzzle, whatever - but let the hug linger a little!

9. Don't WANT a hug - make them see sense! Cling, and don't let go for anything oohcookiegimme! - if you're the hugged, try to get loose. Or maybe you'll give in!

10. Random or other kind of hug - pick the choice you like best, or make up your own

It was always hard for her during the full moon. Just knowing he was hurting and there was not a single thing she could do to help. Once he finally made it back to the house she was flinging herself into his arms.

"Are you alright?"

Remus wouldn't have let Tonks help him during a full moon, anyway. So long as he took the potion he would be fine enough, but he didn't want her to see him like this. When he had been a kid he had been reckless, running as the wolf with his friends in animagus forms. He had almost hurt Snape, something he would have never forgiven himself for. He would never risk all that again.

Belatedly, he knew he should have been expecting that hug, but it still surprised him nonetheless. "Oof." But he wasn't in so much pain that he couldn't wrap an arm around her. "I'm fine, Nymphadora" he lied, murmuring into her hair, but she could probably hear it in his tired voice.

She knows he wouldn't trust himself to be near her when he turns, potion or not; but that doesn't stop her from wishing she could be.

"You are a terrible liar, Remus" It still doesn't stop the joy at seeing him returning home in one piece, which is always a danger. It's a danger that he might not come back at all.

"Do you need anything? Should I get you an ice pack, or a hot rag? Some tea? I got that chocolate from that one fancy store you like"
