Emma had been in Boston for a few years already. She knew she had to get out of Portland, so she got a map, and picked a spot, and moving right then and there. She had just got into her car and driven. She probably stopped for food and coffee and what not, but for the most part she drove.

She arrived, and got a small, but comfortable apartment, with the money that Neal left her, and got a job at a local cafe. It wasn't much, but she did like to cook, and the people were nice, so here she was in Boston.

This was the longest she had stayed in one place, but she had met someone who intrigued her, so she didn't want to leave in case he came back.
