Because in the capital, English had been working for her. This far out, she's starting to wish she spoke even a lick of any Bosnian, Serbian or Croatian language. It's not so much a matter of panicking--she hasn't panicked at all, amazingly, despite Yan's warning that it wasn't unlikely she would while out on her own--as a matter of feeling moderately less than certain she won't have to walk back. Or that walking back won't take more than 24 hours.

Thank goodness for other people who look out of place. The tall young woman with the pack seems much more likely to speak English than half the people who've been politely shaking their heads at her.] --sorry, do you-- speak English? Favor Dios.

[Whoever thought trying to have a trip to Tokyo as a means as a distraction during the hotter months (or at least it was starting to warm up now, late-Spring to early-Summer tended to at least trap enough heat in the air to be a slight annoyance) was obviously an idiot. Maybe it wasn't such a surprise that Oikawa had offered to organise a trip for AobaJyousai after recent events--

--but he should have considered this a little more thoroughly.

He's ended up in the outskirts somewhere after being bothered by a group of lovely young ladies who found his origins to be rather amusing (Miyagi prefecture wasn't that funny, was it?) and the others had wandered off while he'd been distracted. Once the girls left as well that's when he found himself in this predicament.

He waits maybe two or three minutes, looking around the area for any sign of someone he knows... ah. They sure have left him to fend on his own, huh?]

Aaaah... After I arranged this and everything-- [It comes out overdramatic, and he's irritated enough at his team that maybe getting help would be a bad idea too... What a mess.]

The attendant in the airport lounge is dealing with Bruce with the kind of calm, professionally warm, but firm patience one cultivates over years and years of dealing with entitled and disgruntled flyers. He's not getting his way in this one; the heavy rain and winds have dropped visibility to near zero. Not even private jets are being allowed to take to the sky.

He relents, with an exasperated sigh, and he moves to look at the downpour. One entire side of the room is glass, the outside of it being audibly pelted by rain. ]

I hope this storm gets itself overwith soon. [ He says aloud, to no one in particular. ] It's damned inconvenient.
