[So rumor around Sky High was that Warren Peace hadn't been sick since the day he was born.

Then again, rumors about Warren were very often completely unfounded. But the fact that Warren had been missing from school for two days now left Layla more than a bit concerned. This wasn't a typical skipping school sort of thing. She'd heard from Principal Powers herself that Warren was in fact home sick with a bad cold.

By then it was obvious that Layla was the caretaker of their band of super misfits and she took the role seriously. When they had heard about Warren's illness she immediately went to planning what she could do the help out. The whole family situation was, for obvious reasons, a mess for Warren and she wasn't sure if there was anyone taking care of him. And so after school that day she took it upon herself to pick up some medicine, water, and take-out soup before heading over to Warren's place.

She reached the door and gave a hesitant knock. She'd never been there before. None of them had, in fact. But a few weeks ago she had managed to badger the address out of him. You know, for emergencies.]

Warren? It's me, Layla.

[Hearing from Hawke that Fenris was in critical condition and required immediate attention, Anders had no choice but to crawl into that dusty mansion and tend to him. He's almost worried when he hears Fenris coughing from outside the room he liked to brood in. Anders had broke into a break and rushed to him, a spell on the tip of his fingers in case of the worst.

What he doesn't expect to find is Fenris so, well, bloodless. And obviously okay, minus the sniffles and the cough he heard moments ago. Anders deflates somewhat, dragging a hand down his face. Of course this would be what Hawke sends him to fix.]

Hawke made it sound like you were dying. There's no cure for a simple cold besides sleep and rest, you do realize?
