Your Innocence is Mine

It's simple. One character is innocent - be it in the way of the world or in the way of sex or both. They may not be the perfect image of purity in other ways, but they're mostly pure as the undriven snow. The other character is more experienced. The two are in a sexual relationship or about to be in one. The innocence of one should be a deterrent for the other...it's not. Even if they feel guilty, the experienced partner is turned on by it.

Mention which role they'd be likely to fill. Remember, even a grizzled space marine could be innocent when it comes to sex!

[We can either go with twenty-one-year-old Ciel, slight AU of events to make the age possible, or one aged up to 16, though he'll be a young look 16 and I'll be using anime/manga icons.

Either way, he's not exactly innocent, but he's not sexual either.]

Syrena was still relatively new to Beacon Hill. She'd moved into a small cabin on a lake, and only ventured into town when she needed to buy groceries. Even then, she tended to keep to herself.

However, if anyone were to happen by her cabin--especially at night, when she didn't think anyone was watching--they might catch a glimpse of her, gliding through the water in nothing but her skin. Of course, if she caught them watching her, she'd probably be more that a little bit embarrassed.

Especially if the mermaid realized they'd seen her tail.

It wasn't terribly often that Derek ventured down to the lake. It was deep in the preserve, and there were a lot of supernaturals that roamed freely in that area. Once upon a time, he'd used to have been one of them. When things were simpler and everything wasn't a life and death battle; a constant struggle between who he could and couldn't or should and shouldn't trust.

But it was a nice night and he missed the freedom of the place. It was nicer, still, when he could run through the woods in his full wolf form, a newly acquired ability he intended to master the way his mother and sister had before him. The breeze through his fur was too relaxing a thought not to indulge himself in the urge, so he had, just this once, because it had been too long since he hadn't had something terrifying following him or hanging over his head.

The big black wolf stopped, though, when he got to the water and saw movement in it. Derek shifted back into his human form, but he hung back a little, using the shrubbery to hide the fact that the switch into that form gave him adequate body cover in the form of thick, black fur, but the switch back out of it, well. Not so much.

It was the tail that caught his attention, though, and Derek moved forward to get a better look. He hadn't ever been particularly shy about his body; no one in his family had been when they'd shifted in and out of form. If there was someone out there and they saw, then they saw. It was what it was, but he needed to get a closer look. He just...needed to.

Syrena had quickly submerged herself when she'd seen movement near the treeline, but perhaps not soon enough, or deep enough to keep from being seen. It was curiosity that drove her to resurface, this time closer to shore. Mermaids were social creatures, not unlike wolves, but Syrena had been displaced from her social structure when she was young--and it was only a matter of time before curiosity won out over shyness.

Eyes and nose above the waterline, she peered out at the naked man. It wasn't the nudity that shocked her, per se-her sisters had always swum naked--but she was sure his man had been a wolf just moments before.

That, and he was very, very male. There hadn't been any mermen left since before Syrena could remember.

When the surface broke, Derek lifted his chin a little. It was a girl. Whoever she was, she wasn't human, that much was clear. Derek moved out from behind all of the trees, making his way into the clearing between where he'd been standing and the lake.

"Hey," he called out and it sounded more curious than accusing. "Girl."

Derek knew there were a lot of supernatural creatures in Beacon Hills, most of which were were-creatures, but he hadn't thought about mermaids. That hadn't ever crossed his mind. Now, his interest was piqued and he wanted to see for himself, really see that mermaids were an actual thing in this town now.

She startled when he called out, turning tail to dive beneath the water again and leaving no doubt about the fins that she sported below the waist. His voice vollowed her underwater, but t didn't sound threatening, so she came back up a moment later, draping her arms over a fallen branch that lay partway in the water.

"Yes, wolf man?"

If he was to say he wasn't disappointed when she dove beneath the surface again, presumably because he'd frightened her, he would've been lying. Derek moved closer, still, until he was at the shore and he crouched down, one hand on the grass between his knees to keep his balance.

But then she came back up and responded. In spite of himself, Derek huffed a laugh. "Derek," he introduced himself to correct her. "What's your name?"

She smiled at his response to the way she addressed him, treading water with her tail. The same, iridescent scales spread across her breasts and abdomen, making her aquatic form more sleek, and streamlined--without disguising her femininity. At least, what he could see of it from behind the waterlogged branches.

"My name is Syrena."
