[Ah... he actually doesn't look quite so moody while he's napping. Sometimes when they meet during break, the athlete seems somewhat exhausted depending on his schedule for that week, but this is the first time that Ao has really gotten the chance to study his sleeping face. It's very mesmerizing!]

[And in fact it's so fascinating that Ao's just gonna lean in closely to the slumbering male; staring with his large, doll-like eyes until the other boy awakens on his own.]

[And waking up he did, not peaceful and quiet, perhaps for a second only until he noticed the boy above him leaning in way too close. It startled him, a scream tearing itself from his throat as he tried to scramble away.

[Quit as he never wanted to do it and only did so out of survival, and to find answers about his lost sister when she vanished during a war. Long story short, he was betrayed in canon, and he is more on the run. He doesn't like killing in general, and events have left him not trusting others much (like the deaths of his partners). He has tried to do the right thing though and saved the world a few times too, though has killed to do so.

Definitely guilt and such on his mind, but he is more likely to open up with people very close to him. Also, while a good fighter, he is also a damn good cook too.]

[Hei wasn't the best at this hero thing.

There was still much he had to unlearn from being an assassin, like working with others beyond his own power. One such person was Diana, Wonder Woman. He may have been compared to Batman, but his skills did not come close to taking down Diana's superior speed and strength. Yet despite his past, she was helping him turn his life around. The least he could do was try to fight the good fight again.

But it wasn't easy.

He sighed, resting on the rooftop near the ledge. An all-nighter had been pulled, tiring even him, a man who was used to it.]

Somehow, I think being hunted was easier than this.

[She tried to sound encouraging as she settled down beside him, giving him a slight smile.]

"You did well." [She was a warrior, and knew how to spot when one was holding back a killing blow, and she could see the effort he was putting in to pulling his punches. To wound when he could do more damage. She'd collected information from everyone he'd downed via lasso interrogation and passed it onto the League.]

With what we've gathered tonight, many lives will be saved, Superman is already en route to where Intergang is keeping the hostages, and Black Canary and Huntress should have their armory taken care of soon. [What would they ever do without Oracle to arrange all these things?]

Unless Oracle tells me we're needed elsewhere- were you injured? [She looks concerned.] I collected brass knuckles from some of those men. [She moves his hand aside and puts her own hand over his chest, checking for movement under the skin to indicate fractured or broken bones.]

I can take you to a doctor if you need it. The Embassy has a medical staff on hand.

[He puts his hand on hers as if to stop her, stopping when he remembers how powerful she is. It was mostly just a bruise anyway, nothing broken, thankfully.]

It isn't that bad. Just need to take it easy for a bit.
