Correct but a proper application of what you learn is achievable and, as they say, scientia potentia est. Or knowledge is power. The more you know, the better you are, the greater chance of doing well in life.

But leaving something doesn't always mean you're going to catch them. Even handwriting analyses isn't that effective. If you're clever about it, a note could work. [shhh leaving clues is the best.]
