hurt/comfort smut; a multi-character post Bruised. Beaten. Stabbed. Sapped of energy. Tricked. Mentally played and abused. Perhaps you've even seen your home world destroyed, depending on how Homestuck you are. Any way you slice it, characters go through a lot of crap. There's nothing wrong with wanting to see them get pampered and taken care of when they're ailing. In canon, they may not have someone who can provide them with care when they're injured, support and love when they're sick, and physical intimacy all around. In this post, AU or other scenarios can provide them with a caretaking partner of their very own (or, maybe, someone to take care of, if the reverse is their preference). So, for once, weary traveler, you don't have to carry that weight all by yourself.

to bring you out of the darkness; The injury may not be a temporary physical or mental one, however. Some characters suffer more deeply, even if they don't know it. Darkness covers their hearts, they're withdrawn, insecure, angry, or lonely. They need someone to reach out to them and show them unconditional love. This post can provide that, too. Whether it be the cliche and shameless "changed by your love" trope or something more subtle like getting someone to open up, the characters here can offer that and more. Sarah cast a glance over at Trip as he entered his--there shared space at the SHIELD base. They were still waiting to hear back from Coulson on their new living quarters in Miami. It couldn't be the exact same condo in the same building, block and spot. They were barely seen in the city, or on the beach, but it extremely important they be placed in a location even more well stocked on weapons and tricks than before. They had another life to protect with this move. The goal was for them to stay at the location for as long as they could. Hopefully at least five years, something to help get them established there as normal, ordinary people. The latter would be hard to pull off given her and Trip's specific set of skills, but a baby would be great cover.

Assuming no one died between now, the birth, and the move in. Or...whatever order they were going to do this entire thing. It was hard to believe in less than two months they were going to have Kira in their arms. The child growing in her would come out into the world and have a target painted on her back. They would need to protect her no matter the cost. Granted, the other members of the Team were still unhappy with how Sarah went about 'dying,' but they seemed invested in keeping their child alive and safe.

However, should any of them betray Trip's trust (because Sarah hardly trusted anyone but Coulson) Sarah would not waste any time in eliminating any one of them.

For now, they were stuck where they were. Coulson was kind enough to let Sarah stay within Trip's quarters and room with him. It worked well enough for the two of them, giving them time to further heal from being separated. If anything Trip seemed to like it more, giving him the opportunity to hold her as they slept, or any chance to take care of her really. Over the past few weeks it became harder for Sarah to get up from the couch, the bed, or do things she never thought about. Her center of gravity had shifted, her clothes weren't fitting her, she was still hungry and her breasts were aching, sore and tender.

"Somethin' on your mind?" she asked after a few moments, noting how he was looking at her. What? Did she have something in her hair? Did she looked more...pregnant than normal? If he said she was glowing she would hit him.

[Atsushi hates fights and generally hurting others, but he's there on the battlefield anyways to support his friends. He does his best to not injure his attackers, rather relying on agility and strength to knock them out or generally incapacitate them by breaking arms or legs. But his plans as a nonlethal fighter basically shot out of the water when there's a very sudden and unexpected moment when everyone seems to come to a standstill for a few seconds. There's a loud thud to the point where it sounds like an explosion going off, and when the dust clears, a familiar pirate is laying slumped in the dirt in the middle of the scene. It's in that moment that he's briefly distracted, eyes going wide at the sight before him, that metal runs through him with a slick sound as the end of the blade protrudes grotesquely from his chest. Pain is not an unfamiliar thing, but he can never quite get used to the moment where his vision begins to black out...

Many are felled by a new addition to the battle. There's an initial, thundering roar, followed by screams and the ripping and cracks of flesh and bones. There's a reason Atsushi was referred to as the 'man-eating tiger' back home and a force to be reckoned with. And although he may not have control over his tiger form, the large feline seems to have a purpose other than causing chaos and slaughtering anyone who gets near it. It moves with a goal, not letting anyone keep it from reaching the center of the battle ground and leaving with what it wants.

In the end, the tiger drags the pirate's limp body away. Far enough that the battlefield is only the sound of distant, faint echoes. Knocking down a rusted fence and smashing through a door to an abandoned building is probably the easiest hurdle to overcome. The only time the large feline abandons its companion is to sniff around the area, assessing the potential danger of staying too long and looking to see if there's any unwanted occupants to chew on scare off. Once everything is secure, it returns to Luffy's side to nudge his cheek with his nose and lap up any smeared blood that's beginning to dry on his skin and clothes.

It's likely Atsushi's unconscious recognition of Luffy as a friend that keeps it from tucking in to another meal (not that it would get very far with Luffy's rubber state, although it would be a nice chew toy). Instead, the tiger ends up flopping down beside the pirate, dragging him up by the fabric of his shirt so that he's upright with his head and chest resting against its side. And from there, it lays its head down, staring intently at the doorway for intruders while it waits for Luffy to gain consciousness.]

It seemed like no one would have assumed that Zelda Hylia, one of the richest members of the New York scene, would have anything to do with aiding and abetting such a horrible criminal like Gwen... or, well, Spider-Woman. It had seemed that the girl had disappeared for days until she suddenly showed up in her home through some mysterious portal, but to Gwen's surprise, Zelda's reaction wasn't one to run and call the cops, but to tend to her wounds she'd inflicted during her fight.

It was her insistence that Gwen stayed to rest and recuperate, telling her that she didn't have and qualms with what she did or didn't do, that she felt that what happened to Peter Parker wasn't her fault (his death mostly) and that, if she needed a place to stay, she'd have one as long as there were no secrets. Which... mostly happened. The costumed heroine would show up from time to time in her new home and they would be able to handle things.

Of course, the one thing that really held them back was the mask. The closest she saw Gwen unmasked was the hood down and her lips exposed. Perhaps one day...

[ Both are good. Established CR will probably be required. Ed occasionally breaks out into pain due to his automail. He also gets night terrors at times. Those are reasons he might need comfort. I'm quite interested in an unspoken thing where the pain comes often, and both parties enter an agreement where the sex is used as pain-relief. Particularly interested if they weren't exactly together before but things are getting muddied now.

Okay with him as the comforter too, of course. Kinks here.

[ lioriley asks as she trails her fingers along fang's skin, lingering over the cuts, bruises, and god knows what other wounds the woman has sustained recently. this isn't the first time fang has come to her in her room in eos tower (what good luck she's a pet, as to have such easy access), isn't the first time lioriley has seeped her very life essence into the other woman to heal her wounds. she doubts it will be the last, either. ] Why do you feel the need to fight - to hurt yourself so freely? [ she tries to keep her voice from cracking when she asks, tries to focus on healing, on anything but her fervent concern for the woman beside her. ]
