Whatever the reasons are, you know your relationship wouldn't be approved of by a long shot. Accidental - you didn't actually mean to confess or kiss. They overheard you or it was an accidental kiss. Maybe you were just really drunk and let it slip! 4. Won't let you go - you need your lover to realize that you won't let them go, no matter what. 4. Back together - you broke up for a bit, but whatever it is between you two, you can't stay apart. 5. Recorded - you're not really interested in this forbidden love affair, but you must do it or you'll face some tough consequences. 5. Ending 1. Left alone - you woke up to your lover trying to slip away in the night because of the strain of the relationship. Do you let them go or try and fight for it? 2. Ending fight - the argument has turned dirty and ends with one of you storming out. 4. Parting ways - both of you have decided to part ways. It's just so much easier. 5. Six months into working at SI with Jane and Bruce had her gaining another scientist to wrangle. But Bruce had always proven to be someone that was easy to look after with his herbal teas and vegetarian meals. The man was always mellow, in control of himself, something Darcy couldn't fathom for herself.

Which was why she was so surprised when there was an attack at the labs. Thor swooped in, whisked Jane away before any real danger but Darcy? Somehow trapped under rubble. Not as bad as she could've been off, considering where she had been standing a minute ago was completely crushed. All she saw was a green blur.

Was that Bruce?

She took a deep breath and hobbled her way through the wreckage, needing to find him.

It had been years since he'd seen Orpheus last, but he would have recognized the sound of his music anywhere. It tugged at him more than even Orpheus' music would have, without that history.

He followed the sound until he was just outside the small crowd that surrounded him, hands in his pockets and a faint, bittersweet smile on his face.

He didn't move to the front, didn't try to garner attention from the other man. He simply hung back, listened to the music and waited for the crowd to disperse. He wasn't going to approach, just wait with his head inclined and see...

The song he played was steeped in the optimism of post-war Britain. The weather was beautiful, and the people around him seemed to believe that they could accomplish anything. It was a nothing little song, bright and pleasant, charming enough to earn him what tips he needs.

When he glanced up from his guitar, he spots a (mostly) familiar face in the crowd, and his music shifted a little. Still bright and pleasant, a layer of warmth crept into the tune, affectionate and pleased. People in the crowd began to smile more, leaning close to their loved ones. Slowly, they started to move away, heading home to be alone with family or friends, dropping coins and bills in the hat in front of Orpheus first.
