[ actually, considering their lives, it's a little surprising they haven't been sucked into a magical labyrinth before now. dean makes endless jokes about david bowie and sam keeps glaring at him, but then dean's sucked—literally sucked—through one of the enormous hedges before either sam or cas can grab him. ]

Dean! [ his voice gives away his concern as he tears through the vines, but they regrow too quickly for him to make even a small dent. slamming a hand against the wall, he takes a ragged breath and hangs his head. ] Fuck.

[ he needs a moment to close his eyes, run his hand through his hair, absorb the blow of dean's sudden absence. they don't deal with being separated very well. at least he still has cas. ]

[Human trafficking was one of the most fucked up things Jo thought a person could do. It was right up there with murder for her, one of her pet peeves of criminal behavior - if you will.

Their current case had been turning into a hot mess of it too. At first, it had just been unidentifiable women turning up in ally-ways and dumpsters, their arms and legs completely used up by heroin and their faces beaten beyond recognition. The really disgusting part was that all their teeth had been pulled as well, and their fingerprints, well...they were...burned off.

Jo didn't like thinking about these poor girls, or how they'd died, but they kept turning up one after another. Henry had been amazing - as usual and managed to figure out through one of his brilliant 'aha' moments that they all had some kind of gravel or paint chips on their person somewhere - enough to indicate a point of origin for all of them.

She'd taken him along to see if he could 'aha' anything else from the place but it was massive. A huge maze of containers going two stories high on all sides and zero clues as to where in this shipyard they were supposed to go.

The bad guys found them before they could do anything about it. Henry had been struck upside the head and Jo probably had a few fractured ribs - maybe even broken - after one of the assholes kicked her with their steel toed boots in the sternum.

After plenty of gloating by who she assumed was the man who came up with the idea of dumping those girls, she and Henry were deposited into a containment unit and were being moved via crane somewhere. Jo wanted to believe it was just going to be somewhere up high where no one could hear them shouting but her gut twisted with what she knew was actually happening.

They were going to get "knocked" right into the bay and never be heard from again. Sure, maybe Mike would figure out where and what happened to them but by the time they were found...they'd be dead.

Jo didn't know how long they had before they were dumped into the water, but she still had her gun - which might help. And she had Henry.

If he would just wake up.]

Loki would have thought they would have been used to this by now, but no, of course they were going to lose their minds over it.

Loki, however, is quite calm about the entire thing, hopping over rubble as if he is just on a stroll. He is a god of chaos -- what good would he be if a little bit of destruction threw him off balance?

In fact, he is doing quite well until he steps around a corner and comes face-to-face with Daimon Hellstrom. Then he reacts as he does to seeing every compatriot of Kid Loki. ]

[ Upon capturing a new kingdom, it only seems proper to scout the place out. Ordinarily, a king might send out his goons to do that for him. Not Richard. He'd woken up that morning with the ridiculous thought in his head to explore the place on his own, on foot, "like the peasants do".

It had started off well enough. Lovely weather, a map was easy to track down and, of course, he'd enlisted his right hand man to accompany him.

Fast-forward to an hour later. The map has been lost, blown away by some rogue wind, the King is in a sour mood, and they've been going in circles for ages. All and all a brilliant day, really. ]

Really, Gareth. I thought you were supposed to be good with this sort of thing.
