Love must have a certain passion behind it, to be sure, but not all passions are the same. The two of you love each other, and certainly romantically - or at least you're working on realizing that - and you're...not sexually intimate, or not in the way many would suspect. You're not ready for that yet, you're following the rules of you're society, you want them to know how serious you are, you're too busy or uninterested, you don't want to "dishonor" them in any way, or that's simply how both of you are comfortable: there are a number of reasons why you'd choose a romance of chastity, and none of them make the feelings between you any less valid.

Of course, no sexual intimacy doesn't mean no intimacy at all. Holding hands, resting of heads on shoulders, touching, kissing on other places than the mouth, spending time together, confessions, or giving gifts can show your emotions towards each other just as easily. You may only want to do these things away from the prying eyes of others, however. And, understandably, you might want to take those milestones slowly and carefully, the same way your relationship has blossomed.

...especially for confessions. For the type of love you two share, you don't want to admit to anything too idly.

How to Play

I wanted to make a meme like this because I thought the idea was darling and fresh, and it could apply to so many types of characters! It's the bread and butter for fantasy types, would be good for kids and the younger character sets, and despite how "badass" they are, it's pretty much shounen idiots to a T. There's very little romance proper in those canons, and it's all understated and unspoken if it's there at all. For a better write-up about all this, check out the TVTropes page!

[ For old time's sake, Jinta managed to get them an early copy of the upcoming Nokemon game from their workplace. Unfortunately, since it's only one copy, they would have to take turns playing it on their handheld device while the other one observes closely.

Oh, but how the times change! These two are from an older generation of Nokemon, and learning the new moves and mechanics, as well as a brand new set of monsters to collect, was proving to be a bit of a challenge. Jinta lets out a frustrated sigh as he's playing his turn. ]

These new Nokemon are so weird! Is that seriously an ice-type?

Right?

[ She was leaning from behind to peer at Jinta rather curiously; peering onto the small console's screen. Admittedly, it was a little awkward for her to be so close to him - to the person that she loved. Not that he knew - or if he did, he never mentioned it. ]

Anyway, are you planning on catching it, Jintan?

[ Wh-why is she leaning so close to him, he can almost feel her body pressing gently. Not that he minds that they're hanging out like this, it's one of those few instances where they can be just themselves. Especially in Anaru's case, he likes her more when she's not trying to fit in with those stuck up girls at school. However... th-this is entirely distracting. ]

I'm... down to my last two Nokeballs. I thought you re-stocked when it was your turn playing, Anaru.

I did.

[ And at this point, she's probably actually pressing her body against his to jab a finger at his screen, puffing out her cheeks indignantly. Because how rude can you get, Jinta... ]

You're the one who's been using all of them.

Anaru-- [ He's not sure if it's her finger jab, or the force of her body, but something causes the game to throw another Nokeball while the monster wasn't even below half health.

Needless to say, it was another waste. ]

A-Are you trying to sabotage me here? What are we going to do now?

I'm not!

[ She groans in response as she leans back a little, folding her arms over her chest in frustration. Geez. . . ]

We'll just get it to low health, catch it, and then run to the Nokemart to get some more, obviously. [ The clear solution to all of their problems! ]
