Unexpected Notice. - Comment with your character, preferences, desired role, what have you. - Sometimes, it can be hard when those around you are getting all the attention and always getting approached. Or maybe you honestly don't care or notice. At any rate, it's still important to know that all attention doesn't come with flashy signs and shows of affections. You've got someone notices; it could they weren't on your radar because you'd never expect anything from them, but your on theirs. Now, they've finally decided to stop just watching you from afar and let you know! You may have been charming someone, and you never even realized it. -Tag others. -FINALLY THE BRIDE, NOT JUST THE BRIDESMAID. -Get noticed by unexpected senpais, whether they be shy, stoic, ~above it all~, or seemingly uninterested.

[Tyler's had a ridiculous crush on Rei for god-knows-how-long. The ridiculous part, frankly, is that he never bothered to say anything. He'd done some crazy stunts behind her back to manage becoming her partner for a group assignment, and let's be frank, there's a reason the other group members "mysteriously" wanted to work on solo projects.

Today, he figures he'll go ahead and admit the truth. No better time than the present, even if he's terrified to say something. (Mostly because he's seen her around other boys. He's seen the fire in her eyes, and the literal fires that occasionally ensued afterwards.) So he's waiting by her locker, ostensibly because they need to finish this project.

... But mostly because he needs to say something, like how he actually feels about her.] So, uh, last final touches, and I swear, we'll be done with this.

( sagramore's career with the kingsmen has been defined, in large part, by her disinclination to work in a team. it'd been a necessary addition to her skillset in order to make anna stolsbord into sagramore in the first place, but she's never really taken to it and prefers to take orders, carry orders out, and make increasingly rare appearances at HQ to put her feet and/or dog on the furniture.

some of the furniture, anyway. king george is an irish wolfhound, and if he sits on some of these chairs, they will collapse. merlin's office chair, for instance, which is why he's sitting beside it while sagramore occupies the seat itself, turning a purloined clipboard over in her hands.

there's probably a reason she's here, but the reason she didn't announce herself could as easily be 'because'. )

The truth is, Leonard can yell up a storm about how he feels, but when it comes to his actual feelings, he shuts up faster than your momma and your aunt when they've been talking about you. It's part of the reason he's never told Carolyn how he feels about her - even if he can't stop thinking about it.

It's why, instead of talking to her, he shoves a note in her locker. It doesn't even say anything about his feelings, just written in his barely legible scrawl,

Meet me in the cafeteria after school. 3:30.

Leonard's note was most vexing, since she wasn't sure why he left her a note to begin with, and why he wanted to meet her in the cafeteria after school, but she took said note with her, and at 3:30 pm she was now waiting in said cafeteria for said boyfriend.

She found a spot in the corner, opened up her favorite magazine, and waited for Leonard to arrive like he said he would.

Leonard was a minute or so late because he had to go into the bathroom and gin up his courage. He wasn't scared of rejection, per se - they were dating, after all, so some affection was involved, but the 'l' word was a big deal.

He breathed in, then pushed away from the sink before squaring his shoulders and striding into the cafeteria. Spotting Carolyn in the back corner, he went to her, dropping into a seat across from her.

"Thanks for coming."

When Leonard arrived, Carolyn looked really nervous. The whole time she was thinking he wanted to break up with her, and not make a scene since it would be out of view from everyone.

She must have read that magazine page 4 times so far because she really couldn't concentrate. When Leonard entered, Carolyn's jaw set, and she pushed to standing, giving him a once over, and it was clear that she was worried by the look on her face.

"Uh, yeah---of course," he voice was slightly shaky as she said it.

"Listen, Carolyn, I." He paused. This was a bad way to start it. He needed to approach this the same way he'd approach any sort of diagnosis: straightforward, honest, and open. Tell her what was up, let her digest it as she would, then proceed.

Breathe in, and out. In ... and out.

"Carolyn, I love you."

Bomb dropped. And breathe.

Carolyn was worried he was going to break up with her, worried that this would be the end.

He was acting strange, and she didn't know how to take that?

But then he drops a bomb like that, and Carolyn freezes on the spot, eyes wide, " I--really? I mean, that's far out, Leonard," because she loved him too. Rushing forward, she wrapped him up in a hug. "I love you too."
