I know most of you jerks don't have a romantic bone in your body, but this is the time of the year you have to muster up all your skills and your affection. For the person you're dating, crushing on, or just plain in love with, Valentine's Day has to be perfect; nothing else will do in your eyes. Even if you're not mushy, do it for them. If you are usually in tune with your emotions, why, all the better! Whether you choose to give them a gift or take them out for what you'd consider a wonderful evening, try your best, be natural, and show that you care - your special person will appreciate your gesture, no matter what.

What can go wrong, anyway? Nobody could mess up Valentine's Day! If you don't screw this up, and you won't, you could really get lucky...if you're interested in that.

Hardison would finally take Parker on that hot air balloon she wanted to go on, probably heart shaped, and either bungee or repel off the thing then have that picnic under the stars.

Mun has no qualms with keeping things fluff or going smut. Open only to Parker (past or new threader) due to muse preference.

((If he actually sees his friends on Valentine's Day, then they'll get a bunch of yellow roses in person. And maybe a hug if they really want one. Otherwise, he'll have them delivered with a card. And yes, I want to play this platonic.))

Steve would take his prospective date to a nice little place on the island. Picnic, flowers, and watch the sunset over the beach as they kissed. He'd just let whatever happened in the moment, happen.

Sam would be the best Valentine quiet romantic dinner, some snuggling by the fire and sex oh heck yes that would happen. And if you knew about his side job he might even take you on a hunt to kick a little butt should you be so inclined.

Malcolm is a little out of practice with the whole Valentine thing but he would spoil the heck out of his Valentine. Dinner at the best restaurant, a night at the best hotel and if anyone threatened what was his well he is one of the best archers in the world.

Mercy wasn't used to being spoiled. Not that she'd object, but she hasn't even had a Valentine's day date in, well... ever.

He would go all out for her that is for sure.

Mercy would undoubtedly bake brownies and cookies for him, change the oil in his cars, and probably make a book of 'gift coupons' for various fun, thoughtful, and even sexy things that he could turn them in for.

Malcolm would love sexy gift coupons it seems like a thing Becca would have done for him.

Hopefully that wouldn't be his first comment to her or it might kind of bring the mood down. ;)

No he might go silent for a bit but he won't mention Becca to her.

And she would quietly wrap her arms around him and hug him and kiss him .

And he would be so grateful for that I can't even tell you.

And then she'd gently tug him into the bedroom and make love to him.

He would love her even more for that.

And she would love that he let her care for him like that.

Barry loves this holiday and would be giving valentines to anyone he knew and even some people he didn't. His valentine would find little gifts on their work space, their favorite lunch bought and paid for and a fantastic reservation for dinner somewhere in Central City.

If he has to vanish now and then to do a thing who is really going to notice.

Want to see what love is like on other planets and universes then the Doctor is your guy. He would show you whatever you wanted to see and then some. He might not be much of a hugger but when he loves he loves hard and fast.

Come see the universe with him.

Other planets you say. ~~I believe it wouldn't be the first time the Doctor had to deal with a bossy chick storming onto the tardis and demanding things of him?~~

The Doctor doesn't even blink he just smiles. "Didn't stutter now did I? Said other planets and I meant it."

"I don't suppose you can take me to the Throne of Heroes?" To break it and get her Archer back. That's another dimension, though, isn't it...

"Could try with the right coordinates," the Doctor says, "can't make any promises about being able to get there but if it would make you happy I'll try."

Fascinated by this heart holiday, he would definitely accept any dates in an effort to see what the fuss is about. He'd mimic romantic behaviour just to feel a part of it.

More than likely it wouldn't end well.

[Karen is a romantic, but being a widow she tends to spend Valentine's Day spoiling her son and her friends.

So anyone tagging her doesn't have to be for shippy purposes. Just anyone who wants to share the candy, who'd probably get a card and maybe an offer to come over for a home-cooked dinner.]

Lovecraft's idea of a romantic Valentine's Day: rummaging through a bookstore crammed with used and well-loved books, and/or a walk through a New England cemetery and reading poetry by Edgar Allan Poe whilst sitting near the grave of a couple.

As out of practice as Kelly is at the moment, he loves with all that he is. That translates into he would do his best to spoil his Valentine. Expect candy and roses, hell even some sort of stuffed animal. Dinner at a good restaurant and later he'd give a bit of massage. Curling up together on the couch to watch cheesy romantic moves with would cap off his plans for the night. Anything more that happens he'd let it all play by ear.

[ooc - Even though Chicago PD & Fire have stopped the storyline with Erin & Kelly how do you feel about them role-playing together?]

[ooc - Cool! I remember reading an interview with one of the writers or producers and they said that they were having trouble with having two main characters from two different shows working out relationship wise due to filming etc so they scrapped the storyline.

[ooc - which is weird since one of the characters cast for the possible Chicago Med crossover is a potential love interest for Kelly. O.o They might have just had people pissed and wanting Jay/Erin. I know a lot of fans didn't like Kelly/Erin because of it. lol

[This was the first time in over ten years that Erin was sharing Valentine's Day with someone she cared for, she had recently spoke with Kelly in regards to her somewhat dislike of such a holiday.However she felt that perhaps exceptions could be made as today marked a year since they had officially become a couple. Ever since that conversation a few days previous Kelly had become somewhat mysterious and it had Erin wondering what he was planning.]

((ooc: Alleyne can be loving and sweet when you get to know her - but Valentine's Day? ...yeah no. Her idea of the ideal Valentine's date is drinking heavily until midnight on February 15th and making fun of all the mushy couples - that being said, if Valentine's Day means a lot to the other person, she'd try and be a good sport about it and make it special.))

Well obviously she'd make chocolates for whoever it was, and then she'd ...take them out to dinner, because if she tried to cook, it would end badly for everyone. And she'd take them up to some rooftop to look over the city and stare up at the stars and it would be romantic and great. They could maybe hold hands or kiss or lean on each other's backs because that's a romantic gesture right there.

Surely nothing would go wrong, because Rin doesn't mess up.
