UNUSUAL SHOW OF AFFECTION shipping meme You don't have to give this person anything to prove you care. But maybe you want to; it's an easy way of letting them know your affection and telling them you're open to a relationship. If you're already with your love interest, a gift might just remind them of your feelings. Most would give flowers or chocolate or offer up a night of quality time or chores done. Those are the usual. You're not usual yourself. Neither is the person you're with...or want to be with. You'll have to go for the unusual. So whether it's building your crush a robot to ask them out, making your friend-or-possibly-more the best fifteen course meal they've ever had, or teaching your significant other to be the strongest ninja warrior, go big or go home. Or go where it's natural, given how unconventional you can be. Comment with your character, canon, and any info. Be sure to include whether you want to play out an unestablished or established relationship, and what your character would give to another- ie, their gift, their gesture, service, skill, etc. Reply to others. Normally, Carmen loved leaving clues, but she didn't want to make this too hard. Everything was going smoothly, and she had left a note for Terry to find in plain sight:

Everything was going well, so far. The lighthouse was in view, and Carmen was always one for theatrics. Surely... this caper would leave anyone impressed.

That was her plan, anyway.

Admittedly from the moment he sees the note sitting just neatly on the coffee table in his (pretty sure locked) apartment, Terry was rather glad to have Carmen taking it easy on him on this time around when it comes to leaving little hints about leading him somewhere. It made the whole exploring thing all the more interesting for him! Especially if it meant traveling across the globe to see her handiwork going down and stumping certain sleuths from the ACME agency! That stuff is more entertaining to watch than television!

But a time and a location in one message? She must really have something big in mind for him to take a gander! So the moment he was done reading the note, he immediately pocketed the letter into his coat and made his way to the location she had mentioned: The lighthouse!

And of course it was quite a bit of a walk to get there by foot, but with just minutes to spare, he was able to make his way to the lighthouse! Albeit very winded from running from the apartment and all! "Whew... she hardly makes it easy for me before. Wonder what's the big idea she's got in mind now?"

He can't deny it though. That line about the thrill of battle DOES have him pretty thrilled about what she has in store though! "Any minute now... hopefully she doesn't have a SWAT team chasing after her or anything."
