✖ Post with your character name/fandom/options for scenarios
(ie; het/slash fluff/smut) and your prompt.
✖ Use RNG to pick your numbers.
1-5 for regular senses, 6-10 for moral sense, 11-16 for cracky senses.
The Basic Five
1. Sense of Sight - Whether you woke up that way, had an accident, a brain tumor expanded or you had a bad reaction to something, you're now blind. Fully and completely. Watch out for that bu--*wince*
2. Sense of Smell - Did someone step in dog crap? It could be you, but you'd never know. You've lost your sense of smell. I guess there's no stopping by the roses for you, huh?
3. Sense of Hearing - "I'M NOT YELLING!!" Yes, yes you are. And no matter how loud you crank AC/DC, you're never hearing Highway to Hell again. Guess I shouldn't have gotten you the Stones compalition CD's, huh?
4. Sense of Taste - No, it doesn't taste like chicken. In fact, it doesn't taste like anything. Perfect time to get that friend that burns everything to cook for you - at least it'll make them happy and you can smile through the whole ordeal.
5. Sense of Touch - Where'd you get that bruise? Or that gaping knife wound? No clue. You have utterly lost the ability to feel anything, like your body is enveloped in fuzzy packing tape. Punch the wall all you want, you ain't gonna feel anything.
The Guiding Factors
6. Sense of Right and Wrong - Tripping people that get in your way? Taking candy from babies? Killing someone that hurt you and yours? All sound like pretty good ideas right about now. Your entire moral code has been thrown into the 'grey' area. There is no right or wrong, only what you want.
7. Sense of Decency - Things that just 'aren't done' are in play for you now. Evicting old ladies and orphans because they can't pay? Pff. Good. Lousy Mooching leeches. Hitting on that underage and naive little thing? Puh-leeze, they're an easy mark. Deflower, deport and debauch yourself to your heart's content.
8. Sense of Self - You don't even know who you are anymore. What are you doing with your life? What's it all mean? What the hell's it for? Why even bother to get up in the morning? Are you going to go try and 'find' yourself? Or just give up?
9. Sense of Preservation - Your life? Means about as much as a mouse fart. Why should you step out of the way of that speeding train? You were there first. Mouthing off to that huge, angry, overpumped steroid-faced goon sounds like a good idea too. He took your seat. And he smells.
10. Sense of Empathy - That ability that lets you put yourself in the shoes of others, to relate to them? Gone. No, you don't know what they're feeling, and quite frankly, you don't want to. You have your own things to deal with, and they're much more important. Why? Because they're yours.
The Quirky Ones
11. Sense of Humor - Wait, am I supposed to laugh now? You have to take your cue from those around you, laughing when they do, usually a little bit late and a little too long. Not even a fart joke will crack a smile.
12. Sense of Direction - You couldn't find your ass with both hands. Literally. You tried. And wound up getting thrown in the clink for inappropriate conduct with a nun. Don't drop the soa-- Too late.
13. Sense of Modesty - So what if you're using a belt as a skirt. It looks good, right? Bending over and showing off too much isn't an issue for you, neither is changing in the middle of the store if you just have to wear that cute little shirt now.
14. Sense of Fashion - Yes, you think a pink polka-dotted bikini top goes just smashingly with the neon green bellbottoms. Bubblewrap tops? Freakin' awesome. Put it on and flaunt it, and watch people's eyes bleed.
15. Sense of Timing - "What do you mean now's a bad time?" Yes, because you think trying to pick up a girl at her husband's funeral is a good thing. What? She's single. You're late to everything. A clock? Wassat? Strange, foreign words...
16. Mix and Match - You poor bastard, you've lost more than one sense. 2? 3? The whole lot? Who knows, that's up to you.

And if Thor will welcome him-- he will take that offer. He scoots a bit closer to him on the bed, leaning into him.] Is there anything that you're curious about in particular, brother? Information is something that I rarely lack.
no subject
He considers his answer for a moment, before trying:] Is there any news of the wyvern in Nidavellir? Or any word from the Avengers?
[Not that he could do them much good as he is now, Thor reflects bitterly, even if there were some new crisis. But he can't help but wonder, and ask.]
no subject
[Thor couldn't run off and safe the world at the moment -- and as terrible as it made him feel, he was almost glad that his brother would be here for a bit... at least until his eyes healed -- and they would heal, yes? They had to.
Or Thor would learn to adapt, no doubt. His brother would hardly be kept grounded by such a thing.]
Are you in any pain, brother?
no subject
And he suspected that Loki might be deliberately lying to keep him here, to keep him safe. Of course he suspected, but Thor also knew better than to try accusing him of doing so. It wouldn't change anything, and he didn't really have any proof.
Maybe...maybe this was just as well. Thor wanted to be out of this room, but he couldn't even find his way to the door without help. And even then, his expression softened somewhat at the question, a little of the renewed tension easing from his shoulders.]
A bit. [Which almost certainly wasn't helping his temper. Almost stubbornly, Thor added:] But I'm glad for it. [Only living flesh could feel pain, after all. And pain could even be a sign of healing. It wasn't much of a hope, but it was one Thor would hold on to.] Don't worry yourself, brother. Being trapped in this room is worse than the pain could ever be.
no subject
You will be back out there, saving the world in no time.
[There's a smile that Thor won't even be able to see but it reaches Loki's voice easily enough.]
In the meantime, let me keep you company.
no subject
[After a moment, and a thoughtful hum, Thor adds:] There might be another way you can help, Loki. If you were willing.
Perhaps you can help me find my way around without my sight.
no subject
Of course... I'm your eyes until you regain use of your own. [He shifts and in a moment, he's to his feet and reaching for Thor's hand.]
Where would you like to go?
no subject
With a faint sort of harurmph, Thor replies:] I would be satisfied just making it around this room. And from there...perhaps to your tower? [Somewhere he would need to know how to get to anyway, and somewhere Loki might feel safe taking him.]
no subject
And there will be mischief, yes, but not right now and never in malice. He can't change the fact that he is a god of mischief though.]
Perhaps I should have put your room back together first... you did a number on it, brother.
[He frowns.]
To the chairs first. You can sit while I put things back to where they're supposed to be. Wouldn't want you to trip over fallen furniture after all.
no subject
[Mostly to his pride. Thor has grown up in a great many ways since Loki might "properly" remember him last, but some things have not changed. For one, it takes him until Loki mentions it to realize that there might be a point to straightening up beyond sheer fastidiousness - namely, that he might be less likely to trip over things in future.
Oh.
So though he grumbles a little, like the child he no longer is no matter what Odin's thoughts are on the matter, Thor sits down on the floor, with his back against the bed, there to be safely out of the way while Loki works.]
Having it all off the floor would be more than sufficient for me.
no subject
[He may love his brother, adore him even, but his temper is still something that can be daunting and terrifying when it gets out of hand. The furniture and upturn rugs can all vouch for that, he's sure.
Thought should be able to hear furniture being moved and arranged as Loki sets to work, making sure there's nothing on the floor that will mean his brother could trip or fall.]
There. I think this will do for now. rise up brother.
no subject
But for now, he sits, dour but patient, and lets Loki work. When bidden, he rises up once more, and starts to reach out without thinking to brace himself against the bed. With his hand halfway there, Thor realizes that he's doing so, and deliberately returns his hand to his side once more.]
Thank you, Loki. [Even though Thor is being a bit of a brat otherwise, he means it.] I do not mean for you to clean up after my messes...but it seems that you are developing a talent for it.
[More than Thor knows, even now.]
no subject
Well, you've certainly done your share of cleaning up after mine as I've been told. [His former self was wonderful at leaving ridiculous messes behind after all.
He tugs at Thor to follow.]
Come, I will direct you around the room and see that you try your best to memorize it, brother. I know that head of yours is better than you let on.
no subject
Honestly, it's like people think you can't swing a hammer and be halfway intelligent at the same time. Even if he's quite certain that even Loki as a child is more intelligent, but...that's all right. That's how they've always worked, back when they did work.
Rather than frustrating, finding his way around the room turns into almost a game, with Loki in the lead. Step by step, and with Thor no longer quite so hyperaware for things to crash into, he finds himself with much more mental energy to devote to remembering the way to begin with.
Of course, the fact that they're even spending time together makes all of this worthwhile.]
no subject
He could certainly tease him about it at times, however, but it was just that. Joking.
And he's proud that he seems to be putting his focus on what he's doing, learning the room. He smiles to himself as he leads him around, makes certain he memorizes as much of the room as he can and then--]
I'm going to sit on the bed, brother. I want you to come find me. [A pause.] And I'm certain that you can do it fairly easily.
no subject
But those are anxious thoughts, irrational and unworthy of him. So Thor releases Loki's hand, and nods, even managing a wry smile.] I appreciate your faith in me, brother.
[That doesn't mean he's not going to try and track Loki's steps by the sound of his feet, however small and light the boy may be. But Thor still stays where he's been left until Loki tells him to do otherwise.]
no subject
Okay, come to me, brother. [Faith is easy to have -- Thor is stubborn and he won't give up easily. He's sure of it.]
After this, we'll go to my tower if you feel up for it still.
no subject
[He's about to just start off in a straight line towards his goal, but...pauses, after a few steps. Wait a minute. They started from his bed. All he has to do is...retrace his steps, right? It will take a little patience, and he'll have to take it slow. Neither of which are generally appealing prospects to Thor. But it might actually get him somewhere, and that prospect is infinitely more appealing.
And so, slowly but surely, Thor starts to pick his way back along the way they'd come. He can almost see the path on the floor, placed there by his own memories. And, while he collides with a table hard enough to knock it over again and make him swear forcibly, Thor doesn't let that deter him for too long. Until, finally, his searching fingers brush what he recognizes after a second as one of his carved bedposts.]
Ha! I do believe I've found you, Loki.
no subject
I knew you would do it, brother... even if that table took an unfortunate topple again.
[He grins, playful, even if Thor won't be able to see it.]
But worry not, I'm certain you'll find your way around more easily in time... and hopefully, your eyes will be healed soon and it won't even be necessary.
no subject
What now? Will you try to hide again, brother? [This almost reminds him of the games they would sometimes play, when they were both children.]
no subject
[There's a more fond laugh that passes his lips -- if only because Thor's mood seems drastically improved and this is almost certainly becoming a game now.
And like any child, or any trickster god, Loki does so enjoy his game. He bounces up off the bed and takes one of Thor's hands in his own.]
Yes! I think I shall. See if you can guess where I go by the sound of my footsteps, brother, and the sound of my voice when I call to you.
[And with that, Loki sprints to one of the corners of the room -- away from any furniture that may be tipped or knocked over. He'd rather save his brother any unfortunate stumping of toes after all.]
Now, where am I, Thor?
no subject
Once again, he turns, and makes his way as carefully as he can to what he guesses to be the appropriate side of the room, while deliberately refusing to let himself hesitate due to the threat of unfortunate stumping of toes.
Unfortunately, the corner causes odd distortions of sound throughout the room. So Thor gets close - he reaches the right wall, by a window - but when he reaches out, his fingers find only the edge of the windowsill. Thor frowns, looking up, looking left and then right, but finds himself for the moment defeated.]
Loki?
no subject
[He watches Thor, watches him almost give up. Ah, but that won't do. Thor will have to be a little more determined than that, won't he? Especially if it takes longer for his eyes to heal properly...]
Come on, follow my voice again. You found me once before... I'm certain that you can do it again.
no subject
Thor might not have quite made it to his brother all in one attempt, but he was close, and so when Loki speaks again Thor realizes where he went wrong. His expression changes from a puzzled from to a relieved smile, and he turns to face the boy before reaching out to rest a hand on his shoulder.
Ta-da!]
And I'm certain you're right, brother.
no subject
See! I knew you could do it, Thor.
[And this has become a really amusing game, to be honest.]
Now see, are you not glad for my company now?
