......my friends. At least, one of them. I think.

I bet I can guess which one.

[Before he goes on with more teasing the first course of what Right ordered arrives, along with Faust's.]

{Oh, that blush deepened on that point. But before Right could protest, the food started showing up. Almost immediately, Right appeared to have forgotten what they were just talking about, because all of his attention immediately turned to devouring said first course.

Quite the healthy appetite he's got, too.]

[Hee. People who put on airs rubbed Faust the wrong way, and Right had about as much air as outer space. Honest enjoyment of a good meal was the proper way to count one's blessings. For a time, Faust didn't interrupt with teasing or questions, taking a few bites of white fish meat and realizing with thanks to the chef that it was light on garlic.]

Not bad. Would you care for a taste?

Mmm? Mooh! [Right looked up from his plate, looking every bit like a cheek-stuffing chipmunk. He quickly swallowed, though, due to barely remembering his manners.] Yeah, if you don't mind.

[Even when he was young Faust had not been qualified as an eating machine. The adorable mammal look suited Right much better.]

Say 'aaah~'.

[Faust stabbed a piece of his meal and ripped it away from the rest then held out the loaded end of his fork. Indirect kiss? Some girls lost their mind at the thought.]

[Yyyyye--no, Right was so used to eating his friends' leftovers that he hardly thought of this as some form of indirect kiss. He immediately leaned over and yanked the piece of meat off of the fork with his lips and teeth. He then sat back down, happily munching on the piece of fish.] Mmmmm, that's really good.

[Faust seemed to think otherwise. He passed the fork's prongs between his lips and rested them there, watching Right eat. Not the fascinating thing some might say, but he knew the value of innocence and there it was, sitting across from him.]

I must agree.

Man, this place has really good food! [Right simply continued to eat with gusto, oblivious to the fact that this is more than just a "play date". It wouldn't be long before he's thru with the dishes in front of him.

[He was left to the blissful enjoyment of every bite, unconcerned with paying for it or caloric intake without interruption. Faust ate gingerly but he did like the meal, just not so...enthusiastically as Right. After a time, his plate was empty of anything edible.]

Shall I ask for the dessert menu?

[Calories? What is that foreign idea you speak of? Right was blessed with the kind of metabolism that left him with lots of energy and little weight gain. Thus, his eyes lit up at the mention of dessert.] Oh, yeah; definitely!

[Some might be surprised that Right had any room left in his stomach but wasn't there some popular jingle on that subject? Not that a French restaurant would be caught dead serving something so pedestrian.

When the waitress arrived to collect their plates (so many plates on Right's side...) Faust did as he suggested. Soon, Right had a list of unpronounceable items to choose from. At least the French word for chocolate was nearly the same.]

[It's a very good thing that a lot of the desserts on this menu include chocolate. But it's also very frustrating to him that he doesn't know French otherwise. If the menu was in English, it wouldn't be a problem; he's surprisingly good at reading and speaking that language.

...man, though, if only these menus had more pictures of what they offered...]

[A hint of Faust's sadism surfaced in how he denied Right any help. Watching him struggle to figure out the foreign terms was too much fun to end it quickly.]

I don't have much of a sweet tooth. You don't mind if we share, do you?

Wha--? [Right looked up in confusion for a moment, but them smiled in agreement.] Sure; that sounds like a good idea. You pick one treat, and I'll pick a few others.

[A few. Not just one. Would sort of condition would he be in after all that?]

Let's go with Mont Blanc. Are you quite certain you can handle so many...?

[Usually? Pleasantly full.]

Pretty certain, yeah. I think I already mentioned how big my appetite is.

[This was it, the moment where Right's opponent bitterly mutters something about underestimating him just before falling to their knees.]

Im...pressive.

I know, right? Let's see...the most I've eaten is...30 servings? I think?

[A quick visual once-over to confirm his stomach was not a black hole.]

Goodness. I wonder what other surprises you're hiding.

[Right giggles wickedly.] Not tellin'~.

We'll see about that.

[Faust took the menu back and finally started translating aloud, going down the list with ease. By the time the waitress returned Right ought to have an idea of their options.]

[Oh, wow; bonus! Faust knows French <3

At any rate, though, Right definitely ordered several items off of the menu, in addition to the suggested Mont Blanc.]

So many! We will have to think of a game to play to decide who will claim the last strawberry.

That sounds like fun! What kind of game?
