is coming true or you're being forced to watch helplessly as
someone you care about is in mortal danger or pain but you can't save them.

Whatever you fear the most can and will come true.

1. motions. you're trapped in your worst nightmare, forced to through the horror to completion with whoever you've drawn into your dream.
2. chased. you're both being chased by something horrible, but it feels more like you're running in place.
3. tortured. held down and tortured in every way imaginable. Can whoever else is in your dream save you?
4. helpless. you're helpless, only able to watch as the person dragged into your dream is hurt, tortured, or otherwise in danger, but you can't help.
5. tormentor. the person in your dream is not there to help, but to hurt. They are not a friend... at least not right now. Maybe they're fighting against whatever is urging them to hurt you or are taking great delight in it.
6. uncontrolled. you're hurting someone you care about and taking delight in it... or at least outwardly. Inside, you might be fighting it with everything you've got.
7. carnal. you're being claimed in the most carnal way against your will, their hands are all over you, they're under your skin. are you a witness? Are you the one hurting them? Can you save them? 
8. other. mix and match or make your own up.

Zach can smell them behind him. Humans, the stink of wolfsbane and silver overpowering gun oil and gun powder and death as they stalk him through hellish ruins. There's blood, human blood, on his claws and dripping from his fangs, though he doesn't remember how it got there. He knows they're chasing him for a reason, though. Knows he snapped, killed, and they're justified in their determination to put him down.

He can't let them, though. Can't stop running. Not just away, but toward. Toward the scent of mate and home and safety that dominates over everything, even in the overpowering stink of decay and death as he darts from shadow to shadow across ruined streets strewn with the bodies of the dead. These he didn't kill, he knows that much. Though he knows he will again, if he has to. He'll do whatever it takes to reach safety, reach his mate.

Something hot and sharp grazes his flank as he throws himself across the next gap, the bitter tang of wolfsbane and fresh blood stinging his nostrils, and he turns just inside the shadows, pulling up to his full height and roars, the sound of it shaking the buildings around him. His eyes gleam red in the darkness, not their familiar gold, and at the sound of a sharp cry of fear nearby he turns to find a girl standing there. She's ragged and pale, barely more than skin and bones, frozen in terror at the sight of him, and he roars again as he draws his hand--paw?--back to strike, the blood already on his claws gleaming in the light of the full moon.

It was the Wraith's worst nightmare. Starvation - that burning hunger that clawed at him from the inside, draining him of strength, stripping him of any dignity he thought he possessed.

It was like the Genii cell, except worse. In their chains, at least his need to feed on the human life force was used as an implement of torture. Here, in one of his more lucid moments, he came to the realization that he must have simply been forgotten. There was nothing to mark the passing of time, no sunlight, no moonrise... All he had was the internal clock of a withering body, and he lost count of that somewhere in (what he supposed was) the third week. Maybe it was the fourth.

He was so weak that when the door actually did open, he thought it was simply another delusion. But there were voices he couldn't understand, and the cry of a living creature being flung into his cell.

Living...

[The nightmare that Stiles is exposed to leaves him helpless, trapped in a prison cell while the Nogitsune kneels over his father. Its hands rest against his father's cheeks in a falsely gentle cradling of his face. Black lines of pain rise in his father's tortured face, transmitting into the Nogitsune.]
