[She knows she's starting to lose it when it takes her longer than usual to process the question he asked and she her mind refuses to even give her words to speak at him. Nyx is quiet for a while, staring at a spot on the edge of the tub, brows knit together in concentration as she tries to get her brain to work again.
Thankfully it sputters back to life and words come back to her. It would be a story to tell when she got back 'I got shot and wound up passing out in some guy's bathtub' she'd be laughed at for sure.
