[Throwing a surprise party for Jim Moriarty is probably one of the worst ideas in the history of the universe, but guess what, it's too late to cancel now. Irene has already texted the coordinates for their "meeting," in actuality an abandoned warehouse filled with streamers, balloons, and party crackers. There are a ton of guests too, milling about and taking advantage of the snack table.

[ It's not the busiest of days. Arthur hasn't said a word that would indicate that this is anything other than an ordinary day full of careful planning, but he doesn't have to check his calendar to know that it is, in fact, not. He knows most things about most people he's worked with and do work with, and that Arthur is aware of when Eames' birthday is even after all this time, that he remembers, still has it written down just in case - it really shouldn't surprise anyone.

He's running an additional background check on the mark later, but he's finished most of the basic research he's been doing -- schedules, availability and background information for Eames, blueprints for Ariadne -- and he begins to tidy up his workspace in the smaller warehouse they're renting for their current job, collecting the files spread out over the desktop. As he passes Eames' desk, he sets the ones meant for him down, and, already about to cross the room to give the ones remaining to Ariadne, he adds: ] Happy birthday.
