Animal Transformation Meme

So everything is normal this morning. The sun is shining (or maybe it’s raining, or maybe it’s snowing, or maybe you’re in space), you’re in bed (or hammock, or cot, or pile of hay) and everything is good (or not). Except for one tiny thing.

You’re an animal.

Why are you an animal? How do you change back? Who knows! It’s an adventure, right?!

Instructions:

► Post your character with name, series, and what animal they are in the subject
► Tag by going to RNG and roll a number 1-8
► Roll with the scenario given and play it out.
► Have fun!

1. The Evil Sorcerer/Sorceress: You transformed the poor victim into an animal, it’s all your fault. But why? Well, clearly, you’re going to tell them right now.
2. The Captor: You’ve found the poor thing on the side of the road, or maybe in your friend’s room. So you’ve taken them home as your pet. You wonder why they’re acting so strangely...
3. Looking to Adopt: Somehow, they’ve ended up in the pet shop, looking to be adopted. You’re looking for a new pet and they might just be perfect
4. My Hero!: So someone was pulling on their tail or trying to feed them to a cat or something. You’ve come in to save the day!
5. The Food Chain: You’re an animal, too! Too bad they just happen to be your favorite snack.
6. Animal Bros: You scratch my back, I’ll scratch yours? It’s a hard world for an animal out there! Since we’re both of the non-human persuasion, let’s help each other out.
7. Fairy Tale Endings: So the story’s coming to an end, and you need something to transform back into your normal self. This calls for True Love’s Kiss.... or the kiss of the closest princess around.

Don't give me that look.

[a pause

Can birds even give people looks? Is he imagining it? What the hell? Did the bird really just-- He sighs.]

... You're so small and fragile, aren't you?

[Fuu bird is going to make you go crazy, isn't she?

... She flutters her wings a little. Well, yes canaries to tend to be.]

[He picks her up again and puts her back in the nest.] That's not going to make you look any bigger.

...

... I'm talking to a bird. I must have hit a new low, haven't I?

[She chirps again and hops from the nest to his hand. Nothing wrong with talking to animals.]

You're jumping onto my hand so easily. Are you sure you want to do that? It's not going to be hard for me to crush all the bones in your body, you know?

You probably won't realize it until I do; you look dumb and you probably are. Aren't animals supposed to be scared of humans?

[She shivers a little birdy shiver, but she doesn't move. Just gives him a low tweet and sits right here. She's not an animal.]

... Bird. [At least he took off the dumb. He tilts his hand over to see if she'll tumble off, and crosses his arms on the desk, leaning his chin on them.]

Small, fragile, and weak. I guess my body's not that different from yours; except you won't come back, will you?

[She does her best to stay on his hand.

She tweets again, reaaaally hoping he doesn't break her, please. Because if he feels like it, she really doubts she'll get away.]

... Don't be dumb. I'm not really going to do it. I know it hurts to get crushed like that... but I guess you wouldn't know that, huh?

[He watches the bird, sighing.] This is ridiculous. Two hundred years, and the one thing I decide to talk to is a bird.

[A flutter and another tweet and hopping closer to his face. Talk?]

You're just a bird. You wouldn't tell anyone would you? If they ever show up here... to Maiza or Begg or... or anyone, if they ever come here?

You better not. I'll turn you into barbecue if you even think about it.

[Czes, that is a silly threat. Fuu can't help it. There is a whistle that resembles a laugh.]

Shut up. [He tries to swat her away.]

[She ducks and hops back one or two steps.

Come on Czes, it's just a bird don't be paranoid.]

... I feel like hell. [He grumbles.] What the hell? I'm getting mad at a bird.

[She's quiet but hops to his hand again.]

What do you think of me, bird? I'm a terrible kid, aren't I, threatening your life like that?

I didn't always use to be like this, you know?

[She tilts her head with another tweet.]

I wonder when I started changing. Do you think there are beginnings to things like that?

... Do you think it's because of him or something that was inside me to begin with?

[She presses her tiny birdy head to his hand. She doesn't think it's either. She thinks that you have the potential to be good, too 8C]

[He pauses a second before he raises a couple fingers to pet her gently.] I don't want them to find out. Ever.

[For all your threats, Czes, you're petting her and not crushing her. She flutters her wings happily with a nuzzle to his fingers.]

[He pets her back, definitely careful not to hurt her.] Will you stay with me?

[A sad little affirmative tweet. She will, but she wants to not be a bird someday, please.]

[No, you should stay a bird forever.]
