Eiri had been cooped up in his office for long enough. He'd been in there all day, doing god knows what. The Gordon Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares marathon was over and Shuichi had completely exhausted all means of entertaining himself. He was bored and starting to get hungry, plus, he missed his Eiri!

Tentatively, he crept up to the door and pressed his ear against it. He didn't hear anything; not the usual sounds of his lover's fingers clicking against the keyboard as those golden words flowed from his fingertips. Shuichi had become accustomed to that sound, and its absence sent a small chill down his spine.

Taking a breath, he tapped on the door with his index finger. "Yuuuuuki?"
