We all have something we either can't do, or can't do alone. Luckily there's a meme for that.

HOW TO PLAY

○Post with your character.  Don't put their name and canon in the header.  Instead put something that they don't know how to do and would like to learn, or something they might want help or practice with.

examples: I can't swim • I need to clean this whole house so I can go to a ball and seduce a prince • I'd like to practice throwing pitches with someone

○Look around the meme! If you see someone that you think your character can be of some help to... tag them!

Alright, level with me. How bad is it for you guys?

They stole our land, slaughtered our people, and enslaved us. In the cities, we're forced to live apart from humans; those of us who keep the old ways are scattered across the continent.

But even if we could reverse the situation, it would make monsters of us. We shouldn't stoop to their level.

Just because you think something doesn't mean you should give in to it. I want respect for my people, not petty revenge.

So you're not totally useless. Good to know.

But you're probably gonna have to break through with fear. That's all they'll listen to. The whole "better understanding through dialogue" thing didn't do shit for us but paint a target on our backs, over and over again.

What happened to you?

More than I even know. It's been going on for decades.

But in my lifetime, they tried genocide and "curing" what we are out of us, if you want the greatest hits. Both using other mutants against us, one against his will. Police'll put a bullet through your head for being a mutant where they can see you. Most of our parents either give us up or kick us out 'cause so many of us are born to humans. Basically, existing is dangerous.

It sounds like we're in similar straits. Do you really think ruling over them will make the world better, though?

For us, yeah. That's all we did is exist. We didn't start this war and they won't stop it, so how else does it end without us wiped out?

I don't know. But there has to be a way to live side by side.
