JUST YOUR VOICE

You have a wish. You know what it is. It is something important. Maybe it is something so important that it shaped your whole life. Maybe it is objectively petty, but you want it, and you're willing to make a deal for it.
Guess what, it's your lucky day. Someone just arrived to make you that deal. But it comes with a price: for that valuable prize, you must give up something else valuable. It may be a precious item, station, memory, a sense, a limb, or it may even be the lives of others. It may also be your soul, but you may have gotten off easy on that one.
The point is, the deal is done. Your desire is granted.
But was it worth the cost?
Here's how it works: You decide what your character most wants, and you decide what they would give up for it. The highest price is what the person selling miracles demands. Note that in the case of 'my life', something like erasing all evidence and memory of your character existing is likely what would happen. There is no fun if the person doesn't live with their choice!
Other people tag your character, either as the wish itself or reacting to whatever wish was made. There are two ways to go about it, either your character alone remembers the changes, or everyone knows exactly what they did (or knows how it used to be and can figure it out)
Finally, it is up to you whether the spirit of the wish or the letter of the wish is observed. Whether you had a sly salesman or a trickster grant the wish is all up to what you prefer to make your character suffer through!
Bonus option: Genie types! If you like, you could always play the wish granting one, and see how many people you can seal the deal with.

that absorbed the souls of the originalsIf more traditional, she was granted her family untouched by all the suffering magic brought them. And without her. A happy living unit, no memory or place for her.
Also willing to do a scenario where she chooses to switch places with EMIYA to free him and prevent the possibility of Shirou ever becoming him, though.

Cost: That Amrod's life is exchanged for that of another brother, most likely one of the eldest three, or even worse, multiple other brothers.
CRIES LOUDLY
you pick who died - most likely either Celegorm or Maedhros or both/more.
Number one: That Irmo would walk Middle-earth physically. Back home- no, back where he was born, he should have said. There he would have thought of this much earlier after his twin's death: Of going to the one who could grant any wish, if only an equal price was paid. And who would do so, no matter what either was, because the Valar did not quite think like elves, and pity and logic worked differently for them. But here, in Middle-earth, he would not have thought the option to exist.
Number two: That he would even receive one of the dispossessed; would even thread on territory held by a son of Fëanor. That he would be in a distance where a frantic two-day's ride would bring said son of Fëanor into his presence before he left again.
In all the rush and surprise, Amrod hadn't had much of a chance to actually think things through - he only knew one thing. He could get his brother back. He could stop being Amrod alone.
There was nothing that he wanted more. He had spent some thoughts on what would be his greatest price while riding, and figured that it must be his ability to hunt, for he loved nothing more. But even if this crippled him - he didn't care.
So when he had arrived, and Irmo had heard and granted his wish... he had been surprised to find himself with his twin in his arms, but with his body still entirely intact. Only then had it occurred to him to ask what had been taken in return, but the Vala had only shaken his head, claiming that it was not his right to tell.
So Amrod had taken his reembodied brother, cradling the babe against his chest with a relief that he could hardly put into words he wasn't alone anymore, he hadn't felt this whole ever since setting foot on this continent, and taken them back to their keep only for long enough to put everything in order, and then ridden up north to bring his brothers the news and ask them if they had an idea what might have been taken in return.
Due to the roads, the time of the year and the weather, and him having to be much more careful with a baby of a few days or weeks in his arms, him and his small escort took paths that brought them to Maglor's home first.
cries softly
"Best you hurry"
When he reaches Himring, Maedhros' banner is gone, and Maglor's standard flies from the topmost tower, the whole place seeming even more grim, as if a shroud hangs over it. Maglor, Amrod will find sitting quiet, eyes unseeing in the Great Hall, fingers drawing tears from his harp although his eyes remain dry. ]
/pets?
Amrod himself is pale when he enters the room, shock settled deeply into his bones. He speaks before even reaching his brother, barely paying attention to the servants and guards that bow away to give him and their new lord space.]
What happened?

[ His eyes are dry, his face a mask, but the inflection of his words are Maedhros' as if he speaks with their brother's voice ]
Maedhros was found dead in his bed not a week ago. No sign of foul play. We will hold his funeral when the rest of the family arrive.

[The Eldar do not die like that, he wants to say; he has witnessed it in Men, that they would simply pass away in their sleep, yet the Eldar do not-
not normally, but they are not normally reborn in just any place, either. Certainly not in Middle-earth, and his hand goes up to his chest, coming to rest protectively over the small bulge at the center of it.
He could not find a thing that had been taken, and he almost laughs harshly at the sudden revelation of what has been taken instead (laughs out loud, without humour and joy, barking more than speech, really, though he does not notice it himself). How could he ever think that it would hit himself? To evil shall all things turn and of course this would be no exception. Of course it would not be him who suffered; they have, as a family, always been too wrapped up in each other too much for their greatest loss to not be another member of the family, or at least something strongly tied to them. And of course it would be Maedhros - they all rely on him, and while Maglor can keep them together, while he can keep things running, that is about it.
He should have known, and he didn't, he was too desperate and rash and desperate, having wished too fervently for his brother for too long, and now Maedhros is dead.
It really was too good to have been true.]

Of course it would touch down over Stark's Tower. Hotspot of all trouble coming out of the skies, these days. Chitauri coming down, Bruce taken away, Bruce and Jack brought back...and now, a beam of light transporting down a rather ordinary-looking man with dark hair in a pristine white suit. He touches down on the helipad, landing lightly as if he'd just stepped down a stair, not dropped from an impossible height. He straightens himself up, as the light fades from around him, and dusts off some non-existent flecks from his jacket.
Every single alarm in the place has started to go off, but he rolls his eyes and gives a bored gesture from one hand, and it all shuts off at once. He speaks, but his voice can be heard telepathically to everyone in the building, Jack and Bruce included.
"Hello. I believe the name of the entity I'm here to speak to is 'Doctor Banner.' Are you here?" As if he doesn't already know. The man can be seen on every monitor, ever so calmly standing on the helipad, as if he's simply walked up and rung the doorbell instead of sparked an invasion.
no subject
And then this. It made Bruce start, hard, up in the lab that he spent a good half a minute just calming himself down to hear another voice in his mind. He took a few slow, deep breathes.
He looked at the monitor, fingers clenching slowly, before he slowly heads up towards the helipad. What did this... man... want?
When he stepped onto the helipad, his chin was up, eyes slightly narrowed. Why was this coming to break just a short time of actual happiness? "Who are you? ...What do you want with me?"
no subject
"I come with gifts, no, a reward, of sorts. Your actions here on Earth have not gone unnoticed, Bruce Banner. Nor have your actions- elsewhere." The Beyonder looks at Bruce significantly. Somehow, he knows, about the Station, about all of it. "The threats that you have stopped would have extended far beyond just your planet, or your existence."
"I am merely here as an envoy," The Beyonder pauses, and looks past Bruce, "not to harm you or anyone, which you could please tell your friend behind the doorway?"
Of course Jack is there, hand on a gun at his hip, quietly holding Bruce's back. Where else would he be right now? He steps away from where he was pressed against the wall in profile, revealing his presence fully. "Didn't think I could sneak up on a telepath," he calls out, before he shrugs. "Had to try." He approaches Bruce, and his eyes flicker to look at him carefully. "Everything all right?"
no subject
"...you're telling me that you're an envoy from someone, or someplace, that I've unknowingly helped... here to offer me what, exactly?" Cautious, making sure he understands what's going on here even as he gestures for Jack to come up to stand with him. One man's reward might be another's terror.
no subject
Jack knows that look the Beyonder is giving him, so he severely rolls his eyes in response. "Another name that's a title? Look, I came to this universe to get away from life-ruining Time Lords, thanks-"
"I am no Gallifreyan," The Beyonder actually looks briefly insulted at that. "Because none of them would act, even when the moment called for it. None of them would come here with the offer that I now give to Doctor Banner."
The Beyonder's tone calms, "My help is directed wisely, just as your help was not unknowing. You knew the Chitauri were a threat to all life, not just your own planet. Your help at the Place-Between-Places aided all existence everywhere, and you were aware of this. Your actions were not by chance, and it is not by chance that I am here."
no subject
"And what help are you offering me?" Bruce asks, his chin up just slightly as he watches closely. He knows the others must be watching this exchange, the other Avengers, but this being wanted only to deal with him.
"I wasn't alone on the Station," he says quietly. "The others are just as deserving a reward, if this is true."
no subject
"But you have a problem that no currently known science seems able to solve."
Jack tenses at Bruce's side, and he twitches lightly, almost about to step between Bruce and the Beyonder. What is this guy getting at?
The Beyonder's gaze doesn't waver, and his words are so important, but he says them so plainly. "I can remove him for you."
"If you wish."
