As children, it seems we get along much better than we ever can as adults. Everyone is a friend, everything is an adventure. We can be close, and it's like those halcyon days will never end. Still, even as children, there as some people we're closer to and care more for than others.

What if that connection grew as we did, and when we are older becomes something more...mature? This isn't a childhood attraction anymore. You've both grown and now you have grown needs.

"Hey," Konoka's voice was soft, but it cut in with the clarity of a bell being sounded. "You know, we haven't played a good game in a while."

When you had a life out at sea like they had, free time became a little more precious. The wide assortment of ships that served as their mobile home usually required either maintenance or assistance on keeping things running, so for a while, Amy and Konoka had not spent as much time together. But as things changed to push them apart, they could easily change to pull them back together.

In this case, it was because a spark happened between them.

She felt like it probably came about after the sunning incident, where a mild favor to apply some suntan lotion brought out some rather sensual comments, followed by a cuddling. Even now, their changed relationship was still new, a wonder to both of them. So as they watched the sunset, Konoka herself felt quite nostalgic, enough to think of the rather impish games they played. "You know, the ones we used to play as kids? You think we should play one, for old times sake?"

Well, it wasn't just old times' sake, considering the fact that they were holding hands, the warmth obvious between them. Whether it was hide and seek or cops and robbers, it was likely going to pick up some sort of new twist.

Amy leans forward her gaze pulled away from the setting sun. The moment that the sun fell behind the crashing waves the lights would flick on for a few hours. Then it would be lights out. Her smile widened for a moment as a light giggle escaped her lips.

"What did you have in mind?" They would play hide and seek all over the ship when they were younger though now a days Amy's delivery rout felt like continuations of that sort of fun.

"We have some time before lights out."

Konoka thought for a moment. "I was thinking we could put a little spin on hide and seek," she said first. However, she wasn't going to leave it at that. "When you hide and I seek, you gotta convince me to stay." She licked her lips in a way that wasn't too obvious, yet still left a hint for Amy's observant eyes. "Maybe take a spin on playing like a robber hiding her stash, too?" Part of the fun of their games was to play roles they normally wouldn't get, and that included things only seen in the story and history books.

Amy’s cheeks flushed brightly at Konoka’s words. “I think I can do that. If I’m a robber what will you do when you catch me? I mean you’d be the cop r-right?” The words were a little unsure, Amy wasn’t used to talking like this and she felt her heart hammering within her chest.

Before waiting for an answer she rose from her seat. She gave Konoka’s hand a firm squeeze before letting it go. If they were going to play she really needed a head start.

This suddenly felt a little more exciting. Now that they were older, they could put a few more stakes to their game. “I'll probably have to arrest you, and take you to jail. Though 'jail’ might have to be 'comfy spot for lights out’. That is, of course, unless you're shrewd enough to outwit me.”

And there she had it. A game that was probably going to get exciting no matter the outcome. Looking into Amy's eyes, she smiled. “I'll let you have that head start, though. Don't want our game getting over too quickly.”

"RIght!" With that she disappeared from sight. She knows where she wants to go though as she moves through the ship she begins to think about where she wants to get caught.

Amy turned moving towards the shops and stalls as she ran. After awhile she slipped away from the busy areas looking for a place to hide.

Konoka sat still for a while, covering her eyes for a moment, and then looked out at nothing when Amy had been out of sight. She waited for a bit longer, only murmuring her count under her breath, a soft, singsong hum as she waited.

"Ready or not! Here I come~!" Konoka sung out, before skipping onwards towards the ships. While she figured Amy would cut through the shopping district, she'd also be much too slippery to catch there. Amy tended to prefer higher places, so Konoka climbed up first, to see if she could spy Amy taking a higher route. In the meantime, her eyes were also on potential hideaways she could cart her 'prisoner' to once she busted her.

The brunette was looking forward to it.

Konoka was right; Amy was heading towards one of the highest places she could reach. Her pace was steady and her breath even as she turned to look out over the lowering sun. It slowly sank below the skyline and one by one the lights began to come on. They had about two hours of lights before everything except the areas that were worked through night would be turned off. She smiled turning towards her little hide out and slipping within the tight space. There was only enough room for her to lay on her stomach and watch the lights and people as they finished their days work.

As the last of the sun's rays disappeared, Konoka spied Amy scaling up another part of one of the ships. She might have thought it was too easy, but Amy was bolder, having crossed one of the busier ships to get there. Konoka would either have to be discreet or take the high path, which was a bit riskier.

On the other hand, crossing the ship the low way wouldn't tip Amy off that she already saw her. With a smile, she descended and made her way across the ship and toward the tower where Amy was hiding. With night at hand, she had two hours to play.

...or two hours to cart Amy to jail, where they would be spending the night. Lucky her, the spot she had in mind was not too far below where Amy was. She'd creep her way up towards Amy's hiding spot, to see if she could get the jump on her.

Amy was unaware that she had been caught. She had worked hard picking out this hiding spot making sure it was far enough anyway to be fun but she could still make her way back home before lights out of Konoka wasn’t able to find her. She wished that her partner would find her and quickly.

She fumbled with her shirt playing with its ends while she waited. There wasn’t much to do in the little cubby that she had slipped into and so she waited. Unable to safely look out and see if she had been found out.

It took her a moment to find the exact spot. She'd seen Amy on this floor, but yet again she had to be cautious enough that she still had the element of surprise. Step by step, Konoka checked the cubbyholes to see where she went, and eventually found her.

Yes, she was standing up! Konoka swiftly made her appearance, pinning Amy against the wall and smiling impishly. “Looks like I found you~” she purred, making sure to press their chests together. “Took me a while, but found you I did. Guess you're going to jail~”

“J-jail? I don’t remember that part of this game.”

Her voice staggered but she had a smile across her lips. She supposed that she would have been found but she didn’t think it would have been so quickly. She dragged her hands up over Konoka’s sides with a smile.

“Don’t you want to go easy on me?”

Her tone was sweet as she pleaded with the policewoman.

"Oh?" She did mention the threat of jail when they agreed to play this one, but the brunette decided to run with it. "But things are changing now~. Hands behind your back missy." She would firmly but not roughly aid with this, turning her around to press her against the wall and capture said arms behind her back.

The mere act felt like a power trip--not just any power trip, however, but a very sensual one. If she played her cards right she'd be heating up Amy for her surrender. "You're under arrest. You have the right to remain... sexy." She didn't remember how it was actually supposed to go, but she didn't care.

Amy shouts in surprise as she is pinned to the wall. Her breath heavily falls from her lips as her chest presses against the hard surface. She wasn’t used to this sort of thing but it gave her a thrill. She wanted to see how far Konako would go.

“What will you do to me officer?” Her voice is becoming huskier each moment she is pressed against the wall. She can feel the hot breath on her neck as Konako wraps her fingers around Amy’s wrists.

She could practically feel Amy's breath quicken from her actions and it's this that drives Konoka wild. As a cop, she had to 'arrest' the girl, but the only restraint she had on hand was a little rope. At the same time, she didn't want to hurt Amy at all, so she made a loop separated by winding rope at the center, and cinched Amy's hands. Knowing this could still be a little intense, Konoka took her sweet time in securing it, giving gentle kisses to the other girl's neck along the way.

"Well in jail, we have to punish robbers... and also rehabilitate them, so when they're let go, they don't do bad things anymore," Konoka explained. "But you still have to come with me." She began to march Amy out of that little hiding spot, eyes cautious for others (she doubted anyone else would show up here, though) and she made her way down a staircase and down one floor.

The 'old times' referred to could be Fate/Zero-era Rin (where she was tiny and cute), or this Rin might be an older post-canon Rin and the association is from the Holy Grail War, or her time as a high schooler in general.
