A bar with a specific twist: run by ladies for women of every stripe of badass, the Rusty Bust is a girl's club for having a drink while swapping tales of adventures, trading tips on armor maintenance, sizing up the competition, slamming into an arm wrestling match or three -- and for younger women seeking to toughen up, it's a place to learn and strut their stuff!

[The tiniest badass lady. Kid sits on a thimble on top of the bar itself, occasionally takin sips from what appears to be some kind of fermented berry.

She looks up when someone sits down nearby and tips her tiny, leaf-like hat at them, before she takes another sip.]

[Have a short, camel-wet hiss in reply -- it's practically civilized for a behemoth like this. The alien with the massive head-piece has been supping from a barrel worthy of a few kegs, her secondary set of jaws snapping into the drink every so often and mostly suffering to slosh the alcohol around, rather than properly drink it.

...One has to try for appearance sake.]

«You're new in town» [the alien rattles. Apparently this corner of the bar is her spot... though if Kid sidles over to the edge of the bar, she'll probably notice an acid-eaten hole or two to prove the Xenoqueen's defending of her own turf!]

Instead, she's opted for a somewhat quieter evening at the Rusty Bust, she can be seen sitting quietly in the corner booth, watching the crowd.

She saunters in, loose-limbed and ruddy from the sun, looking altogether pleased by a day entirely spent outside riding. She pats dust off of her wrap-skirt, rubs her hands together and heads up to the bar.

When Kaitan sits down, it's heavily and on a stool along the bar, and she waits patiently for the barkeep to circle back her way.

"Whiskey," she asks, having become familiar with the drink in this very bar.

As the barkeep is heading off to find the bottle, she peers curiously at her neighbor. "What've you got?"

"It's Scrumpies' Fine Cider, Ma'am." She's rather pleased to have been addressed so easily by such an obviously experienced woman.

"So what do you do, then?" She shifted hurriedly into a relaxed slouch against the bartop, realising that her automatic, chirruping lilt and tilt frowards, learnt from too many hours behind the bakery counter, was too at odds with her wish to pass as the spearwoman she hoped one day to be.

I scored big tonight. [Any nearby badass ladies will get flashed an uncharacteristically friendly smile. Whatever she did to get that money, she seems to be very proud of herself.] Drinks are on me.

There's a tall, weathered young lady drowning herself in beers over at the bar, crushing peanuts on the counter's surface and cramming the edible detritus into her face. She looks like she's been at it for a while. When the jukebox in the corner flips over to something new, something she recognizes, she swings around and gets to belting out the tune along with the decidedly more sonorous voice from the record.

Maybe it's not entirely a happy one but she's putting a lot of emotion into it, being as much of a drunken goober as she currently is!

She's a light drinker but she mades a visual impression: either she's dressed up to the nines in a cocktail dress or she's rocking something a little more casual, with a holstered gun and tight trousers because why not.]

A trollish neophyte is sitting in the corner, red glasses concealing her gaze as she follows the goings-on of the other inhabitants of the bar. Though she's not currently on the case, it's impossible to keep her defenses down. Latula was loosely cupping a martini glass laden with a variegated liquor, one that wreaked as well as a rainbow. She allowed a silver coin to trickled between the knuckles and fingers of her free hand, though her attention was shifting over the rest of the bar as though she was ascertaining who would throw the first table.

Too many badasses for one little watering hole. One was bound to slip up and she wanted to see how these non-trolls, these aliens handled their own.

A vampire walks into a bar, no it's not a joke that is exactly what just happened. She wasn't big, she wasn't imposing, but she was well armed and looking every bit the gothic cliche her kind were purported to be. They really needed to update with the times.

But when one is in Rome...

[So a living, gestating alien queen walks into a bar. She has to tilt her head simply to fit through the door, but once she's in, she towers over everyone else, her smaller pair of arms tapping together as she scents the mobile, organic pods.

When she approaches the bar, her tail whips frenetically behind her, upending several of the nearer tables, but the Queen takes no notice. Her exoskeleton is impermeable to most blunt trauma. It's lucky that she's a regular: two bar tenders are scrambling to roll an entire barrel up onto the counter by the time she crushes a bar stool and crouches on her muscular, saurian hind-legs!]

«I don't appreciate the staring, ladies,» she hisses. Her pheromones are pumping out obedience-modifying scent-markers, 'sit' and 'stay' for the laymen in the crowd... though of course being human means that the particular scents are probably going to go unheeded.

[The response comes telepathically, from the green woman brave enough to sit next to her. Mantis nods to the bartender, who raises her eyebrow and hands her a drink. She's seen the oddities and the horrors that her own universe has to offer, and while the Xenomorph Queen certainly is far from harmless, the inherent shock of running into one at a bar has long since worn off on the Celestial Madonna.]

Perhaps you'd have better luck at avoiding there gaze if you were a bit more courteous.

[The woman gestures toward the turned-over tables and at the patrons who were unfortunate enough to have placed their drinks on them. There are more than a few glares in their direction, although none of them seem quite foolish enough to pick a fight.]

An apology may go a long way in this circumstance.

A grease-streaked, overalled young woman picks up her pint from the bar. Muscular from her shoulders to her calves, she's also tall and naturally a little broad. She's got a grin on, sunnier than the usual seen 'round these incredibly badass parts, and she moves with the ingrained care of someone who's been big all her life.

Derfegertz casts around for an empty seat at a reasonably welcoming-looking table. It's packed in here tonight.

"D'you mind if I sit?" she asks over the din of a Saturday night.

A woman with narrow eyes and long black hair sits at the table, sipping at a glass of white wine and picking her way through a roast chicken meal; she's slender and feminine, but what's visible of her arms shows tight, wiry muscle, and she's noticed that her table is being approached before Derfegertz speaks up.

Smiling - she hardly seems to do anything but - she looks up and then nods at the empty seat. "By all means, go ahead. Drinking alone is probably a little sad of me anyways."

There is a woman, dressed in black, with a broadsword. One might notice that she's over seven feet tall. She has a glass of wine (and the bottle, in case she wants more later), and is trying to get a dice game going.

"Come! It will be entertaining."

Places like this are the offices and board meetings of bounty hunters. Samus probably spends equal amounts of her earnings on both drinks and slipping the bartenders credits to see what information they might happen upon in their profession that she might find useful for hers.

It makes her quite popular, the bartenders have her drink ready before she sits down.

'The Rusty Bust' is maybe a little too spot-on when you're a robot, but Slipstream sets her aft down with a barrel of oil to sip at, watching all the little human women moving around with bright red eyes. She ain't usually the type to hang out with organics, but she doesn't have any objection to conversation, either...]
