[ Dawn's walking past an open balcony along the upper levels of Ul'dah when she spies a familiar pink-haired figure on the story below her. Rushing towards the balcony's rail, she yells and waves frantically below at her, trying to get her attention. ]

Ah! Ah, Chora, Chora, hi! I'm up here!

[ Once she's certain that she's caught the other woman's attention, she scrambles to the railing and climbs on top, balancing carefully on the edge before she beams down happily at the other woman.

Wait is she going to... ]

I'm coming down right now!

[ And she leaps off with no hesitation, absolutely, 100% confident that Chora is going to catch her. ]

[She'd just finished her last job for the day (a quick courier job, nothing too stressful and not much pay considering today's Pearl Lane clientele) before running off to the Quicksand and drinking her cares away. That she should hear tonight's companion of choice hollering from above kind of saves her a lot of waiting, and so she looks up with a huge grin--

...Except she doesn't come running downstairs. Admittedly, there's a hell of a lot of stairs to go down, but still why the hell is Dawn leaping from a balcony into Chora's arms? We may never know.

One thing that's certain is that Chora's only reaction is to stare in horror, right up until she has to move lest she be covered in splattered Hyur; then, and only then, does she flick her arms out and catch Dawn, spinning around in an attempt to take some of the momentum away.

It's a Starlight miracle that neither one of them appear to be broken (though she might have to see about her shoulder Thal's balls it hurts), and she's too relieved to be too mad.]

...Use stairs next time, hm? Too old for this.
