You're ridiculous. [ And as idiotic as that new title sounds to him and as much as he wants to comment on the fact that he doesn't like Klavier's music (with one exception, of course), he tilts himself a bit so that his head is on the prosecutor's shoulder. ]

This doesn't mean you can call me that.

Well, I could shorten it. Apollo Justice: my future boyfriend.

[And to top off the pick up line, he slips an arm around Apollo's waist.]

[ And what a bad pick up line it is. But Klavier has Apollo smiling, and considering that he was near breakdown at the beginning of this conversation, he's done pretty well. ]

[Klavier is pretty proud of himself for drawing that smile out of his companion. But yeah, he'll admit that pick up line wasn't one of his best. It got the job done, however.]

You only have to call me that once. [ Thank god, Apollo thinks. It was so corny even though he liked it. ]

[He chuckles.]

Right. I'll drop the "future part". But don't think you're off the hook with petnames just yet.

Great. I'll settle for Herr Forehead more than anything else you'll come up with.

[cantilena]

What about Schatz? Or Liebling?

[Pulling out the big foreign guns now.]

What do they mean? [ Well, they don't sound awful to him. ]

[cantilena]

Oh, you think I'm just going to tell you? Where's the fun in that?

[And Shameless Asshole Klavier is back, ladies and gentlemen.]

Ugh.. [ Crossing his arms. ] Fine, go ahead. Call me those things. [ Most people in the area don't even no German, and if Apollo can't understand it enough to be annoyed by it, that's okay, he thinks. ]

[cantilena]

I'll gladly take that as a victory, thank you. Don't worry about it at all, I assure you these names are entirely of the affectionate sort.

[His cheeky grin is a result of Apollo's frustration, not the German, he swears.]

Yeah, sure, whatever you say. [ You're lucky he likes you, Klavier. ]

Why are you so averse to nicknames? I've always thought of them as a sign of affection, not to mention creativity.

Do you know how many awful nicknames I've been given? [ For example: The red demon, emissary of the Underworld, Sonny-boy, Nameless face who speaks for the nameless masses, Mask☆DeMasque IV, Pollo, and Boy wonder. ]

Probably not enough. Then again, I find it difficult to put my affection for you into words sometimes, too.

[See, he's totally smooth. Yep. Not that he so lovingly calls Apollo a nickname that draws attention to his physical appearance or anything.]

[ Klavier is just so ridiculous, and Apollo is smiling while trying to scowl, and that's just not working out for him. ]

You know that saying that stuff doesn't work on me, right?

[ He says while smiling like a fool. ]

You sure about that? I think that smile is decisive proof that "that stuff" definitely works on you.

[Wearing a smile of his own, he reaches out to pat Apollo's cheek with one hand, the other hand going for Apollo's waist.]

Objection! [ He says it so quickly and with such vigor that one may believe that he actually has a good counter point.

But he doesn't. Apollo tries to think of one, but he really can't. Him smiling really is decisive proof. ]

Ugh..I wish I could say that I didn't like it when you said those sorts of things. [ Because that is very not him, but Klavier carries such an interesting allure that he can't help himself. ]

[cantilena]

[There's a slight flinch at the objection, but he's quickly growing used to hearing it at such close quarters.]

Why? There is nothing wrong with appreciating affection.

[Does he lay it on thick? He can, if he wants to. Like he is right now, going for the embrace, dropping his hand to encircle both his arms around Apollo's waist.]

I guess there isn't.. [ He just isn't used to it, and sometimes he's very oblivious to it.

Although he actually should appreciate the affection a bit more, and perhaps be a bit affectionate back. It isn't as if he doesn't want to be. So, he leans forward to lightly press his lips against the other's forehead, his hands holding onto Klavier's arms to keep him in place. ]

my guess is just not very, though willing to try?

[To help compensate for their height difference, he ducks his head slightly. There's something comical about getting a kiss to the forehead from someone so much shorter than him, but at the same time, that detail adds to Apollo's endearing quality. He grins, leaning forward to touch his forehead to his partner's.]

See? Is that so bad?

probably?? i'm just going to keep making things up to the best of ability!

I'm not emotionally stunted, you know. [ His comment is light and is not meant to signify that he's annoyed. After a moment, he closes his eyes and lets out a light sigh to display his content. ]

[Klavier leans down to touch his nose to Apollo's. He, on the other hand, is always very willing and ready to get cozy.]

I suspect that you're just not very used to this sort of thing, are you?

Not really. I've had a few girlfriends, [ Surprise ] but… [ He shrugs a bit. There's no excuse, really. Romantic in the usual sense just isn't him. He's romantic in his own ways, he thinks. ]
