Sweater weather is shipping weather.
...or something like that. The winter can be cold and lonely, but if you have someone to share it with, it can be the most wonderful time of the year. This meme is pretty simple and straightforward: shippy situations for all your cold-weather needs. From the cute to the hot to the sweet to the cool, it's all here for you. Don't be shy! Get your Christmastime/holiday wonder on and tag someone completely new! It's like a gift you didn't know you wanted!

1. Date: Just because it's cold outside doesn't mean you're stuck indoors. Go out and do something! Maybe this weather means the restaurants won't be so packed...
2. Ice Skating: Get on your feet and do some ice dancing! Hopefully, at least one of you knows what to do.
3. Playing in the Snow: It's not just for little kids. Make snow angels, snowmen, or indulge in a snowball fight! You can always warm up together afterwards.
4. Shopping: With some company, holiday shopping can be a bit more bearable. Unless, of course, one of you was dragged along against your will.

8. Warming Up: Snuggles and cuddles are the best way to get warmed up after a long day in the snow. Good thing you have your honey to give you some body heat.

8. Naughty or Nice: So have you been a good boy or girl this year? If not, you'll get punished. Of course, Santa may not be able to come, so your lover will step in to dole out the "coal."
9. Reindeer Games: For your gift, you may have gotten some new "toys" you want to try out. Luckily, you have such a nice partner...
10. Just Love: Nothing kinky or overly sexy here. The two of you are inside on a cold day, and you just want to be together. Throw some logs on the fire and have a romantic evening by the fireplace. If you want to get really fancy, throw down a few furs and lay naked on them.
11. Thank You: Thank you notes for gifts are so cliche. Tell your significant other that you love your diamond ring another way.

For the people of the Water Tribe, there were a couple good rules for snowstorms as bad as the one that was hitting them: stay indoors, get a nice fire going, and have some good company to pass the time. Asami and Korra's visit to the south was supposed to only be a quick one to take care of some Future Industries business, but making it to the Spirit Portal now, let alone the ship they'd come in on, was out of the question. That meant the two of them would have to spend all night together, all by themselves, in a cozy little room.
"We've definitely got enough wood to last the night," Korra nodded her head after giving their supplies an inspection, "Probably a couple nights. Food and water, too. It's almost like mom and dad planned this..." They wouldn't do something like summon a snowstorm this bad even if they could, but trapping their daughter in a room with her girlfriend during it just screamed meddling with romantic intent.
She'd have to remember to thank them later.
Stretching her arms, Korra walked on over to the large pile of cushions across from the fireplace and, with no ceremony to speak of, flopped on down. "I don't know about you, but I think I'm going to lie down right here until it's all clear outside," she said, smiling toward her companion, and reached over to pat the cushions beside her. "And there's room for two."
She - they - needed this. No crises, nothing to worry about at all, just the two of them and all the time in the world.

Asami thought she knew what cold was. Republic City had had some cold winters, and she had visited both poles on a couple instances before, but this storm was quickly proving that she had no idea what cold was. She was very glad to be with someone who knew how to weather through a storm like this, for the mechanic was certain she'd be too caught up in thinking about just how cold it was to even be able to think straight.
The fact that that person was Korra, made it all the better. With the fire crackling, and them in such a cozy room, warmth was returning to her. Despite the fact that this had all come so suddenly and was delaying their vacation, Asami didn't mind. After all, what she had wanted the most was some time to spend just with Korra.
"Don't mind if I do." She glided over to Korra, unwrapping her arms from around herself and gently settling down next to her, and turning on her side to face her, hand drifting over to lay on top of Korra's.
"Are storms like this common here?"

"Sometimes," she said with the tiniest shrug as she twisted to the side to look Asami in the eye, face to face. Her hand twisted to gently clasp her girlfriend's, and her expression could only be called 'sparkling.' "They're usually not this bad, but during this time of year there's plenty of storms to go around. We've had worse, though, it's nothing to worry about."
In fact, Korra would be stunned if it was still raging in the morning. Some simple water bending would be all it took to clear the way to the ship, get it cleaned off, and have them on their way, but bother to that. It wouldn't happen, but she wanted this storm to last a week, if it meant they got to stay in the cabin and relax.
