special containment procedures

SCP artifacts pose a significant threat to global security. Various agencies from around the world operate to maintain human independence from extra-terrestrial, extra-dimensional, and extra-universal threat. In the past humankind has been at the whim of these bizarre artifacts and similar phenomena, but we have now reached a point in history where we can begin to control and contain these defiances of natural law.
You are now working for the SCP Foundation. You have no need to understand how or why we operate. What you do need to understand is how vital your mission is.
→ Post with your character’s name, canon, and any preferences in the subject line
→ Open up the SCP's experiment pages.
→ Go to the good old RNG and roll a number 1 through 1999, and roll, and roll, and reroll until you find an experiment that tickles your fancy. Or pick your favorite.
→ Roll for a prompt as well if you need a starting point, or go your own way.
1. There Has Been a Containment Breech - Whatever this experiment is, it's out and on the loose. Are you running for your life or trying to take it down?
2. I Don't Belong Here - You're not supposed to be here. Maybe you don't even know where here is. But now you're alone with the experiment and you're pretty sure you don't want to be here anymore.
3. Routine Tests - Just another ho hum day at the office, running tests on cosmic anomalies, narrowly avoiding death, the usual. What are a couple of SCP employees to do?
4. And then John was a Zombie - The experiment is you. Do you just want to be understood? Do you want a friend? Or maybe you want to turn this employee into your next meal.
5. Rescue Me - One of you is under the hold of an experiment, and the other is going to need to save you, hopefully without getting pulled in themselves.

The light fixture above my head flickered, and I glared at it. It didn't surprise me; automated dimmers, motion sensors, flourescent lighting. This was high-tech, and I don't get along with high-tech on the best of days, much less when I've been manhandled into a secret facility by not-really-from-the-government agents.
I considered hexing the light out of spite, but it probably wouldn't inconvenience them much. Some underpaid maintenance guy would fix it and that would be it.
I glared at the door instead.
"This is a little bit excessive, people. I'm a damn wizard, not some kind of alien. The whole Area 51 routine is tired."

As he lays there in a not-quite conscious state, he wonders if he will ever be acknowledged as anything other than something to be studied ever again...]

Despite the specimen's initial struggles, it had been rather routine, and Jade's curiosity about its refusal to be identified by the SCP classification grew. After all, a humanoid being classified as a 052 was... rare, if this wasn't the only case ever.
It was after hours and Jade had a little test of his own he wanted to perform. The consciousness of the 052 had always been fought over; was it a mindless specimen, or was it sentient? The dosage of the sedative had been properly lowered and Jade was waiting for it to awaken from the not-quite-there state.]
