For all the times you can't figure it out on your own, there's Yahoo! Answers: the way to connect with your peers who are (hopefully) experts.

1) Post with a question. Anonymously or not. It can be anything from hair care tips to questions on how to be a better villain.

2) Answer other people's questions.

Well. That's not exactly what I meant.

what are your documentaries about?

Social issues, usually. The last one was about the homeless, and HIV. I did some work for this sleazy news agency too, but I quit.

No... But to be fair, I didn't really expect to change the world.

To show people what's happening right in their own neighbourhoods. To show that just because you're dying from a disease, doesn't mean you stop living. Realistically, I didn't expect to change the world, just a few minds.

and how did that make you feel?

I would've liked to see more success from it, sure, but that it wasn't the most popular documentary of the year doesn't really bother me either. I tried making pieces that would sell before - the money was great, don't get me wrong, but I didn't enjoy it, so I quit to go back to being broke and focusing on my own work instead.

At least I can say my friends loved it - it featured them, so that was important to me.
