I once thought to be a dragon, to combat them on equal ground, but having met them my mind has changed... the bird's an idea, admittedly, but I don't know what manner of bird I would be. Something that could protect itself and its kin, I expect...

I've oft thought of what it would be like to be a wolf, but I doubt I would be able to live up to the standards I've seen set, heh.

In the end... I am unsure, but the life of something other than human does sound so much simpler. Were we under different circumstances, I think I would like that quite a bit.

[there's a quiet whine at the not-quite-reprimand and it looks like even his ears are drooping slightly. But at the last comment, Link just looks at his now drowsy friend... And shakes his head. He's too comfortable to pursue that topic of conversation today.

So he just curls up against Marth and settles in to take a nap. Well, if Marth insisted that their friendship and the rumours beginning to appear was nothing to worry about, then Link would... Well, he'd still be concerned about being an unneeded burden on Marth. But at least he could be a little more relaxed about it.
