1. Sprain/strain. How did you screw up walking?
2. Broken bones. Simple fractures still hurt.
3. Cuts. Hopefully one of you has a sewing kit.
4. Burns. Location, location, location. Let's pray this one isn't on your ass.
5. Concussion. No, they're most likely not holding up fifteen fingers.
6. Other. I'm not a doctor.

HOW'D IT HAPPEN.
1. Stupidity. You did this to yourself.
2. Accident. Is an unintentional attack still an attack?
3. Attack. Don't lie, you deserved it.
4. Other. It's probably still your own fault.

WHERE'D IT HAPPEN.
1. Home. Did you remember to invest in a first aid kit?
2. School/Work. This should be excellent for getting you out of doing stuff!
3. Outdoors. Predators like the smell of blood. Clean up asap.
4. In the water. Hopefully there aren't any sharks!
5. Other. Like a hospital. That'd be handy.

Heh, don't worry about that. I screw up more then you do. [He sits up a bit relieved that it's not going to need setting.]

At least all we have to do is cast it, though it's going to put you out of action for a while. I'd thought you died for a minute. I almost rampaged.

I thought I was dead, when that Titan jumped. I heard its teeth snap shut. If it's timing were just a second more accurate...

[He visibly shudders.]

Does anything else hurt?

[Armin nods, and looks away. That's an experience they both share: sliding down a Titan's throat. Although the memory is hard for him to purposefully recall, as if his mind forced itself to forget in order to keep moving forward. It only comes back to him in nightmares and moments of incredible stress.]

I think I may have broken a rib or two on the same side. It just feels like a crack though.

I'm probably concussed. [He smiles just a little at Eren's jab at himself.] I was guessing when you asked me how many fingers you were holding up. Was I right?

Yeah. [more concerning at the time, though, all things told it shouldn't have surprising.] I was pretty surprised but there were more pressing things to do.

Yeah, it'd be nice wouldn't it? If everyone could heal a lot faster. I don't know how we'd do it though.

If I can take care of the Titan, and take down those walls. Then yes, it's worth it.

No, it's OK. Our lives aren't great, but there's not a lot we can do about that without making them worse. [Either by not doing anything or by fighting monsters. It's a no win situation either way.]

That's one way to put it. The only path we have to take is the one leading forward, isn't it?

Yeah, we aren't going to get anything we aren't willing to fight for.

[He lets a breath out of the bottom of his lungs.]

Is that really so bad? If we can accomplish our goals? [Eren's not certain it'll happen anyway, but he's already proved killing people isn't hard for him with the right motivations.]

Eren, they're tired old men. And I don't mean that as an insult, I mean that quite literally. I don't envy them in the least.

I don't think their tired, if that were the case they'd have given up. Weighed down by the people who've died maybe but so are we. We've all lost people.
