[The instigator ends up being, of all things, a cat. Stuck in a tree, none too friendly, and had thanked Shinjiro's assistance with nothing less than several claw scratches - drawing blood - across his left cheek and another through his sweater and down his neck before pouncing off into a dark alley shadow. The injuries aren't Tartarus-level but that doesn't make them any less welcome, and Shinjiro huffs a quick breath of irritation before heading back towards the dorm.

At least it's late.

With any luck no one'll be still awake and he can clean off in one of the bathrooms before heading to bed. But luck's never really been on his side, and as he walks towards the dorm he can see weak light filtering through the thick glass windows. So much for that.

Maybe it'll be Junpei or Yukari, one of the underclassmen he can tell off. They shouldn't be up so late anyway. He opens the door, steps in, and clicks it back closed.]
