h/c smut
hurt/comfort smut;a multi-character post Bruised. Beaten. Stabbed. Sapped of energy. Tricked. Mentally played and abused. Perhaps you've even seen your home world destroyed, depending on how Homestuck you are. Any way you slice it, characters go through a lot of crap. There's nothing wrong with wanting to see them get pampered and taken care of when they're ailing. In canon, they may not have someone who can provide them with care when they're injured, support and love when they're sick, and physical intimacy all around. In this post, AU or other scenarios can provide them with a caretaking partner of their very own (or, maybe, someone to take care of, if the reverse is their preference). So, for once, weary traveler, you don't have to carry that weight all by yourself. | |||

I've missed playing him! Forgive me if I'm a bit rusty.
"...You're lying, Amelia."
no worries!
Even vocalizing it wasn't helping. She shook her head. She trusted him to tell her if he knew if anything was off, but by his response he didn't seem to.

"Memories? Or strange thoughts?"

"What sort of feeling?"

"Lonely." It was the only word that came out, and it even surprised her.

He paused, trying to put his words in order before he said them.
"I feel like that, too, sometimes. The feeling of being alone, even in a room full of people."

"Something's missing, Doctor. Maybe it's just from the cracks or having my memory wiped, but something just feels off about it, Doctor," she told him as she looked up, concerned.

He pulls her into a full hug, trying to determine their next course of action.
"There's any number of things that could be wrong, but I promise, I'll do my best to fix them. I won't ever leave you out in the cold, Amy."

"I know. I just wish I knew what it was," she told him. That was frustrating as well.

"We could try telepathy, if you like?"

He leads her over to sit on the nearby steps, and sits beside her.
"Just relax. You might feel a bit of a push, on your mind, but it's only me."
The Doctor hesitates, putting his hands on either side of Amy's face.
"You're sure you're okay with this?"

"Close your eyes, and just relax."
He does the same, and gently sends out his mind to hers.

With the black spot gone, the colors returned to that area of Amy's mind, swirling beautifully like one of Vincent's paintings. The Doctor turned, and looked at the other dark spots. There was a lot of work to be done here, but he refused to leave Amy in such a state.

He moved to the next black spot, and the next, banishing the terrible thoughts to god-knows-where, and so on with any spot he could see.
