Even if they could, on a cool day in hell, see you in a relationship, the other person would definitely have to be the pursuer. You're about to prove everyone wrong and make the first move. The act can be...well, an act, a gesture, an admission, or a gift, something nice like flowers or the skull of your mutual enemies. You know, anything to let them know how you feel and that you'll be pursuing them. ...you do know how to pursue someone, don't you? [I'm honestly not 100% sure how to set this up, but it's too tempting because Tetsuo here is such a rough-edges-but-heart-of-gold dork. I can AU him into the FF4 world, or vice-versa!

My best idea for AU'ing him (to write it down before I forget) would be to say he was another survivor of Mist Village (although not gifted enough to be a Summoner), and eventually found out she was chilling in the Feymarch/Summoned Monster Village and took it on himself to go find her because he's impossibly stubborn like that.
