Oh my god, there is nothing more frustrating than when you want to kiss someone and press them against a wall, but for some reason, you can’t—or when you see two people who are obviously in love and you want to shove them into a room already. What is preventing you two from getting together? Can anyone end this?

It’s not that they hate each other or someone else is making a barrier, it’s just that they you have no idea how good of a couple you would make or how you always flirt with each other. Will one of you realize it, or does someone need to give you a push?

It was a Tuesday when Stefan had cornered Stiles in the hallway of Beacon Hills High. The bell had just rung for lunch and the student body parted, some moving towards the cafeteria while others filtered through the doors outside. He'd been pretty good about finding a quickly emptying place and didn't look too imposing when he trapped the smaller teen against some lockers.

Over the past few weeks, Stefan had sort of weaseled his way into life in Beacon Hills, acting like he was some completely normal transfer student from Virginia. He'd lied about having a set of parents, and told some elaborate lie about his brother back home. He was charming and handsome and as a senior, he had more than a few girls going crazy. Too bad that he only had one real focus, which was finding werewolves and keeping them out of Klaus' hands. He'd learned that Stiles was pretty suspicious from hanging around Scott McCall, who was definitely a werewolf--or something else in the supernatural spectrum. Either way, things were off.

It'd been pretty easy to make friends--Stefan knew exactly how to be charming and friendly, and he had a smile that could make anyone fall for him--so it wasn't as though he didn't know Stiles after a few months at school. It was just one of those classroom sort of friendships, not really the kind where you'd suddenly admit to being involved with werewolves.

Back to the present, Stefan was trying to not seem too invasive standing in front of Stiles, his schoolbag hanging over one shoulder, making him look completely casual in his jeans and perfectly fitted t-shirt. He smiled. "Hey, are you busy?"

Oh god, it was the new guy. Well he really wasn't new anymore because Stefan had been here for a couple of weeks but he was still new. Definitely new and definitely the guy Stiles might have been crushing on since the moment he had spotted Stefan walking into the school on his first day. Not that anyone knew. Well Scott knew because his best friend had super smell and hearing and Stiles' body betrayed him every time he got a glimpse of Stefan. The reaction only got worse when Stefan seemed to want to become friends with Stiles because Stefan was smart and hot and kind and hot. Ya, Stiles had it bad. To bad he didn't know Stefan's little secret or why the vampire had come to the school.

"Nope. I have a pack- some packing to do. Donating old clothes and stuff. But I can do it later," Stiles said catching himself before he told Stefan that he had a pack meeting to go to. Scott would understand him not being there. It wasn't like they were being threatening by some evil mythological being right now. "What's up?"

Stefan just kept his green eyes fixed on Stiles, an amused sort of look coming over his face while the teen seemed to fumble over his words a little bit. He let off a chuckle in response, shifting the strap of his bag over his shoulder. "Good. Great. I just wanted to talk to you, if you're cool with that," he said like it was an innocent inquiry from any normal teenager, not a vampire trying to get his way in with a pack of werewolves. It was completely possible these people didn't even know his kind existed.

"You're best friends with Scott McCall, I know. And I...uh... You think you could help me out in getting to talk with him? He's a pretty busy guy, but..." This just did not sound all that great coming out of his mouth, did it? "I'm interested in lacrosse." Which was a massive lie.

Stefan wanted to talk. He wanted to talk to him. Stiles's day got a whole lot better at those simple words. He even perked up and grinned a little at Stefan. That was until Stefan spoke about wanting to talk to Scott and Stiles' world came crashing down. Of course Stefan wouldn't want to talk to him just for fun. Stiles tried not to feel bitter about it. Scott was his best friend and Stiles loved him like a brother. But then...

"You know Scott is straight right?" Stiles asked raising an eyebrow at Stefan as he tried not to pout. Stiles was pretty sure the lacrosse thing was a lie which was just rubbing dirt into his wounds. "I mean he has nothing against gay guys or anything. He loves them. He loves me after all. But he doesn't love love them. Just loves them. ...Am I making sense?"

Okay, this hadn't been the right way to go about this at all from Stiles' response...which was pretty normal, probably. He looked like he wanted to laugh as he crossed his arms over his chest, eyes flickering away from the human for a moment before they came right back. "That wasn't... And I'm not really gay. I've had girlfriends and--I'm not interested in Scott like that." His brow furrowed and he pulled his bag from his shoulder and let it drop down onto the tiled floor of the school hallway.

He sighed. "I was trying to do this the normal way, but..." Green eyes peered deeply in Stiles' and there was power radiating behind it as Stefan's mind connected with the human's. He wasn't planning on using the kind of compulsion that would take away Stiles' free will--he'd been in that situation--it was just easier than beating around the bush.

"This conversation we're having? You're not going to tell anyone about it. It's our secret. You're also going to refrain from possibly panicking over what I am and what I know, alright?"

Stiles barely had a moment to register his disappointment when Stefan told him he wasn't gay. Well there goes his shot. Why were all the hot ones straight? But before Stiles could really get into his pity party Stefan seemed to have gotten closer and the human teen couldn't look away.

"It's our secret," Stiles repeated as the compulsion washed over him. He had no clue what was happening and probably never would. One of the perks of being compelled. "And I'll refrain from possibly panicking... about what?" Stiles couldn't help but ask even though he really didn't understand.

Stefan released Stiles from his power before he grabbed up his bag and then took the human's arm, pulling him out of the hallway and into one of the nearby, empty classrooms. He let Stiles go inside to lock the door behind them, giving them a bit of privacy. "I'm only interested in Scott because he's a werewolf," Stefan explained casually, walking up to the teacher's desk and leaning back against it, arms crossed over his broad chest. "And I'm a vampire--but no, I don't plan on starting up some feud with him over our species. I want to keep the wolves around here out of someone's hands."

And...this was probably a lot to take in for Stiles and definitely not what he had been expecting over lunch at school. He felt slightly guilty for getting the kid involved in supernatural drama.

"Wait... what?" Stiles asked because Stefan had just fired a lot of information at him in the last few seconds. There was something in the back of his mind, something he couldn't focus on, something was blocking how he would have normally processed the information. Stefan's compulsion was working.

"Right... Scott is a werewolf and you're a vampire," Stiles said trying to play off Stefan's words as he stayed by the door. He was trying not to give anything away, to prove that Stefan was telling the truth, and he was failing. He had gone slightly pale. "Are you high?"

He sighed and gave a shake of his head, soon pulling himself from the desk and wandering back over to Stiles slowly. "Your heart's beating a lot faster. You're lying about Scott," he said calmly, staring at the boy and trapping him against the wall with his broader body. If there had been anyone here to witness this meeting, it would've looked a lot more sexual and intimate than anything else.

Gently, Stefan reached a hand out and touched Stiles' cheek just barely. "I'm not here to hurt anyone, but there is someone dangerous out there that would. His name's Klaus. He's looking for werewolves, wanting to make them like him. Which would mean Scott, and whoever else, would lose their free will. I'm being honest with you." Which, even if Stiles still chose not to believe him, there was proof in those green eyes of his. Stefan's emotions always came across in his expressive eyes.

Stiles' heart might be beating faster but his brain was shutting down as Stefan moved closer. His eyes closed slowly when Stefan touched his cheek. The touch was barely there but Stiles' tilted his head into the touch. It was something he had been wanting for weeks now.

"You're crazy," Stiles said, his voice not as controlled as before but he wasn't panicking. He didn't understand why he wasn't panicking. "There is no such thing as vampires. There... there is no such thing as werewolves. I don't know what you're talking about." Stiles was denying Stefan's words even if he could hear the honesty in them. He wouldn't put his friends in trouble.

Yeah, he was definitely lying, but there was also something else. Something being the fact that Stiles was very much attracted to Stefan, which was completely obvious now that they were this close in a room by themselves. He wasn't really sure how to take it figuring that any humans that fell for him were probably doomed--that's what happened when you crushed on a vampire. That conversation might have to happen later though...whenever later was.

"I'm old, but I'm not crazy," he replied, letting a hint of a smile come across his lips. He was still dangerously close to Stiles and his hand was hanging there near his jaw and throat. "If I show you what I am, will you be honest?"

Stiles knew he was putting his heart on his sleeve but he always had been a sucker for physical touching. Someone could get him to do anything as long as they touched him. And even though Stefan's touch was barely there it was still a touch and it made Stiles' heart sore.

"Maybe. If I don't put you in Echo House first," Stiles said opening his eyes so he could see Stefan. "Vampire and werewolves don't exist. Did you watch a lot of movies last night?"

"You like me," Stefan said suddenly, ignoring the topic of supernatural species while his lips were in a gentle smile and his green eyes narrowed, focused completely on Stiles. He honestly shouldn't have been that surprised and he probably would've noticed a hell of a lot earlier if he hadn't been so focused on more important issues. Still, there was a part of him that was aching for the companionship. He'd been pretty damn lonely since his break-up with Elena months ago.

Which was why for a moment he was following his dick instead of his head, leaning down to press a kiss to Stiles' lips that would remain chaste, at least if the boy chose to not give into it.

"What? No, I don-" Stiles words were cut off because one moment Stefan was talking about supernaturals and being a vampire and the next we was kissing Stiles. The kiss was soft and chaste and even though Stiles was taken by surprise he melted into the kiss. He returned it with eagerness, his hands reaching out and grabbing onto Stefan's shirt before he could stop himself.
