The Calm You Down Smut Meme

Rage fills every inch of you, and there's no doubt you're about to do something dangerous, stupid, or reckless. Or all three. There's only one person who can calm you down: your lover. They have tried everything they know to get those thoughts from your heard. Everything except for this... Now, they're using physical intimacy to remind you what really matters, which is the two of you. Allison still wasn't sure how the fight started. The dining hall had been crowded, she'd gotten stuck about three people down from him, and the crowd had formed like lightning when the fists started flying.

Someone else got the two of them apart, but it was Allison that managed to stop Tig from taking another shot by wrapping her arms around his waist. She had to practically shout to get through to him, start dragging him bodily away from the scene of the crime, and by the time they were back on the second level, he was still half locked in his own head, wearing that smile that normally made her belly clench with heat and taking two attempts to answer when she spoke to him...

When she got him into his own cabin, she knew she had to deal with him...but first she had to get him back.

"Tig...Tig, c'mon, look at me." she murmured, pushing him back against the door and gathering his face between her hands. "Look at me, Tig...c'mere..."

She ran her fingers over his cheek, swept them up into his hair and across his brow. Physical contact was good for him, grounding, and right now it was all she had so she ran with it. Not unlike their first night together, both hands smoothed over his face and hair, down across his shoulders, trying to will him to calm through touch alone.

"Breathe, Tig...c'mon, breathe for me, look at me...it's okay, I've got you..."

Grantaire slipped into the flat quietly, listening carefully for anything that might indicate whether or not he was presently alone within as he carefully shut the door behind him. He was of two minds about it, on the one hand hoping that Enjolras had returned before him and was safely ensconced within, not raging within the Musain or across the city, senseless with beautifully articulate fury. On the other hand, if he was home than all that fury could be redirected once again upon Grantaire, with no company to buffer the assault.

They had parted at the Musain, the strength of their differences ringing in the air, Grantaire frustrated and edgy, Enjolras indignant and terrible. Not that Grantaire could entirely regret it. Enjolras riled was a thing to witness, a riotous creature of fury, a living statue of passionate conviction, but wanting to see it made a masochist of him, for Enjolras' words could cut and had done so with surgical precision. It had lead to him walking out before he'd done anything regrettable and he'd turned off his cell phone immediately, managing to waste an hour before heading back to their shared flat.

He didn't turn his phone back on as he shrugged off his jacket, dreading the potential influx of messages, dreading the potential for none at all, and figured it better to avoid it entirely. He debated, briefly, getting drunk but disregarded it. If anything could make things worse than they already were it was that and he was currently testing this new thing called self-control out. It was proving to be rocky road but with perseverance he believed he could make headway!

Yeah, right. Striding over to the cupboard he yanked it open, eyes raking over the contents within, seeking out a familiar bottle.

She was a fair bit shorter than he, being in only thin socks, but that didn't mean she couldn't trip him if push came to shove; she was already pressed flush against his back.

Right now, Amy was angry. At what, the Doctor wasn't entirely sure. Perhaps, she had just had a row with Rory. There had been quite a bit of shouting coming from their room in the TARDIS.

It might not have been the best location for the two out of time soldiers to meet for the first time since the fight on the hellicarrier. It might have been better if the once asset of Hydra hadn’t did everything that he could to avoid his once old friend. It was now that they were in a locked room within the SHIELD playground that Stephanie was able to see him again. It probably would have been better if Bucky acknowledged the his old friend when she entered the room. It was just that he didn’t know what he would say, if there was anything that he could say.

The minutes of silence went by uncomfortably. He actually thought that his friend would say something to start to conversation but there was nothing.

“Steph…,” he started to speak as he approached the invisible wall between them. That was probably what had made it easier for him to talk about the woman that he pulled out of the water.
