Chuck smirked, looking into the cage. There the girl was, sleeping off what he'd done to her, wearing handcuffs, choker with loop and bell, and bra and panties (if only so he could strip her of them again). With a smirk he tapped the bars of the cage. "Time to wake up, pet." He reached through the bars of the cage to caress her foot before scratching along the sole. "And to decide whether you want yesterday's games to continue. Or whether you want me to let you go." Not, he thought, that that was terribly likely. He'd worked her up to make sure she enjoyed most of what he'd done. But yesterday had been about private pleasure and denial. If he'd read her properly, today was going to be much more public and humiliating - and she'd enjoy it even more.

Giving Clara the key to his flat might have been slightly foolish, but it had its compensations. And tonight The Doctor had made a mistake. He'd brought Clara back three hours early, and when he realised what he'd done he'd told her that she wasn't to meet herself. Which meant she had to go somewhere else.

Danny, meanwhile, had known Clara wouldn't be around and so had had an 'exciting' time marking before falling asleep in his chair - and was having a bad dream; something that was evident on his face. Which was how she found him. She knew how to wake him (anything that sounded like a clap, a click, an explosion), and how not to wake him (oddly enough, talking softly). But if he was sleeping like that, waking him would be a kindness as well as everything else.

So maybe Akihiko had been training a little too much lately. Once he got started, it was always difficult to get him to stop. With how often he had been training this week, it felt a little bit on the odd side to be here instead of inside of a gym. They were all supposed to be gathering at Rise’s place, and so far it seemed like Akihiko and Rise were the only ones there. But of course Rise would be there, it was her place.

He knew he arrived maybe a few minutes early, but it didn’t explain the lack of everyone else. He’d sent text messages to them, asking if they were still coming, where they were and so on, but no one seemed to be responding to him. It could be that they all forgot their phones. It was a possibility, but not likely. They could have all been in some blackout zone, still, a possibility but not likely. Akihiko sighed and looked around for Rise from his spot on the couch.

“Rise-san. If no one else is going to show up, maybe I should just go.”

[She hasn't seen Raleigh all week because of her schedule (finals week are always busy as fuck, as she'd put it) and because with Stacker in town there have been some changes in Mako's schedule as well. Her father keeps doing things and dropping hints at dinner that make her feel like things will change soon in the gang, and something horrible might happen to leave Mako in charge with Herc as he keeps on insisting. So there is the obvious tension; she's rattled up constantly, but there are a few things that calm her down. Working on her bike, and working on everyone else's bike who needs work done. So, her schedule fills up too.

She does miss Raleigh, though. Tells her she would like to meet up, then does what she hasn't done with any of the girls that came before her -- she invites her over to the garage. Of course, Raleigh comes and brings in the smell of freshly ground coffee beans and takes dominion of the kitchenette to brew her a fresh cup. Mako's stuck watching her as she struggles with wiping the oil grease off her fingers, and wonders what's the most addictive thing she's hooked on now. The newly discovered passion for coffee, or the fact that she would fuck this woman on every surface of this garage, including some other people's bikes.

It's the unsolved mystery. She gets her hands clean again by the time the coffee's done, and can't help but laugh because how on earth did she manage to make the milk frothy with just the tools that were in her kitchenette? She's pretty sure she only had tea kettles and sugar cubes there this morning.

But of course it gets served like it's the most elaborate and dignified drink ever, and Mako takes it out of her hand like that. And does the unspeakable. She runs her finger in a circle on the inside of the cup's rim, picking up sweet froth first; sucks her finger clean with her eyes set on Raleigh.]

Mm, I see you discovered the hemp milk.
