Everyone feels jealous at one point or another, whether it's justified or not. What's important is how we deal with it... do we discuss it, fight about it, or plan epic revenge to carry out?

You think your lover has been looking at other's a little too often or flirting too much in your company. You can't keep quiet any longer about it.

 

2 → simple life

Your friend, family, or lover has always had it so much easier and you can't help but feel a little put off.

 

3 → don't you forget about me

Your friend or lover has found someone new they want to spend almost all their time with and you can't help but feel a little cheated.

 

4 → cheated

Forget just a sneaking suspicion. You've caught your lover in the act of cheating and it's driving you nuts. You have to confront them about it.

You did all the work, or at least you feel like you did, so why do they always get all the praise?

You broke up or had a falling out with someone close to you and it's killing you to see how they've seemed to let go and you're stuck standing in place.

You're jealous of any attention they get because you're secretly in love with them. Time to make it known!

Everyone always praises them or they were clearly the favourite child or just more popular with friends. You can't help but hate it.

[ maybe he just wants to beat damon to a pulp. maybe that's why he's so butthurt, because he really hates that smartass.

kol has another idea, that is full of excellence and all things that no one would describe kol as. eagerly: ] Send Rebekah. She likes humans.

[ Elijah would not object to beating Damon to a pulp. Violence seems to be the only way to teach him a lesson. Still, at Kol's suggestion he merely tilts his head, expression wry. ]

[ kol tilts his head. if only tvd vampires were telepathic, he'd be sending OUR SISTER IS A STRUMPET FOR THAT MORTAL JOCK, ELIJAH. but, unfortunately, all kol has are his words and whiny tone. clearly, elijah will see sense, right? send rebekah, the one who likes humans, and leave kol here for the dirty work. rebekah wouldn't want to get her nails dirty, would she? ]

doesn't that just tug on the heartstrings? it does for kol. even if he doesn't seem to openly like rebekah, or he takes every opportunity to make some crude comment about her, he does want her to be happy overall. she's his family. no matter how annoying she is and always will be. ]

Do you really believe a place like this should be that for her? Take her to Disneyworld or somewhere very far away from here.

It was nearly ninety years ago, to be exact, so no. [ A raised eyebrow. ] Are you worried about getting lost?

[ Yes, that's a slight teasing tone in his voice. Really, Kol, just take on some responsibility. It's not that hard. ]

I am not worried of anything. [ he might just puff out his chest. yes, elijah, he kind of is. 8( ] I merely thought you were a better candidate for the job. You know the area, you know the boy, and I am sure he would trust you more than he would trust me if your cover were to be blown.

[ so, maybe he wants to make a dig at the fact that elijah is kind of bffs with elena gilbert, the one he wants to drain dry. or have rebekah drain dry. he just wants to beat on damon. ]

Besides, I'd say you were a much better candidate to befriend Jeremy. Wouldn't you agree?

[ but! kol isn't sure whether to take him being compatible to be friends with jeremy gilbert to be a compliment or an insult. if this was rebekah, it'd be the latter. but he kind of likes elijah on occasion maybe all the time, let's not get sappy and he can't help but preen a little at his big bro's comment. ]

[ It's just an age thing, brother. Really. Kol can pass himself off as young enough to make friends with the Gilbert boy. The best Elijah could do would be to pose as a teacher. ]

[ He says it with absolute certainty, because it's better to show that he has confidence in his brother. Even if Kol doesn't always live up to that. ]

[ he can't help it he was blessed with the good looks! never mind that he's the youngest. that doesn't factor in. either way, kol apepars quite proud of himself. secretly, he's always wanted to live up to someone's approval. elijah's happens to be one of them. ]

If that's the case ... [ he then frowns. ] I hope I don't have to leave by morning. There's this lovely girl down at the local pub I've been dying to have a taste of.

You trust me on an aircraft? [ oh, stars. kol's kind of excited. he's been dying to see what these airplanes are like, with all their tvs and seats and what not. and first class! elijah must like him a lot. ] You know, Elijah, a man can get used to this kind of lifestyle.

[ and kol might just, you know, relax a little, cross his legs, lean back, act as if he's king of the world (when is he not?). he's a bit of a smug ass right now. he likes being spoiled. ]
