7 Minutes in Heaven
![]() |
RULES • Leave a comment with your character's name and fandom. • RNG for a number between 1-10 to get your scenario. Mix and match! • Have fun! |
SCENARIOS 01) One In A Million | The other person is the only reason you agreed to play this game and now you have them right where you've hoped for all night! Get it, tiger. 02) Not My Type | This is hella awkward. Is it their voice? Attitude? Appearance? You just don't want those lips anywhere near yours. Seven Minutes In Heaven, more like Seven Minutes Of Nope. 03) Seventy Minutes | You're so involved in smooching that neither of you notices the door has been locked and everyone else has left the room! Not until it's too late. 04) Unrequited | Tell them how you feel (so many! emotions!!). Even if you're a little too enthusiastic and your love is unrequited you have seven minutes of smooching to do, as per game rules. You can't fail! 05) Seconds and Thirds | Some self-proclaimed funny man outside upped the stakes and now a third party has been shoved inside with the two of you. Make the most of it! (Three-way threads ahoy!) 06) Taken | One of you has a significant other and your seven minutes are spent smooching anyway. Oops. 07) Strangers in the Hangers | Hello there, Good Looking. Where has this hottie been all night? Who cares, now they're yours! 08) Long Lost Smooches | You haven't seen them in forever and didn't know they were going to be here tonight. Resolve that UST! 09) Party Pooper | One of those involved is upset because of #PartyShit and now they're trapped in a closet after getting dragged into playing a game they tried to avoid. Cheer them up? 10) Get A Room | Your seven minutes are up but neither of you wants to stop. Relocate to a spare room! |
i'm fine with whatever!! i've been voicetesting haha
I don't think I was, either, but I'm sure they didn't mean anything by it. [ Other than maybe trying to make Mako smile or something. But Opal doesn't think he was having that bad a time?
And honestly would have advised, like, getting him a glass of punch or a slice of pie or something before forcing him into a game like this. But she's fairly conservative in her attempts to cheer people up, unlike other people.
...Also, she was completely and totally joking about a daring escape attempt (because what are the others going to do when the closet is empty when they open it?) but all the same Opal is definitely looking up at the attic, a little curious. Are...they going to do the drastic thing? Should she agree or...
...Well, she does want him to like her, and this is an excellent chance to bond (? MAYBE) and honestly it might be fun. Why not? ]
I don't see why anyone would be up there around now. Give me a boost? [ Not that she entirely needs it if she bends up, but it's a fairly tiny closet and she doesn't want to buffet him with wind.
This is about to get really stupid, isn't it. ]
you're DOING GREAT SHE'S REALLY CUTE AHH
[ it's easy, though, to ignore the hot burn of embarrassment, and unfold his arms to lace his fingers together in a sort of stirrup for her to step on — like he's done this plenty of times before. and, well, he has. with bolin, plenty of times but they were shorter, and it was fire escapes, not attics they were trying to get to.
that... actually might be a good option, as an alternative to awkward silence. talking about it. ]
Y'know... Bo and I used to do stuff like this a lot when we were younger. Not with attics, though.

Once she's up in the attic - dust, but no one else she can see for the moment - Opal reaches back down, offering her hands to help boost him up. ]
Really? What did you used to do it with? [ She's...actually interested, here. Bolin's stories always sound so fantastic - who else in the world has been a probender and a mover star and saved the president and done everything else he's done - but Opal's interested in the littler things, too. Like what he'd done before all that. ]
I never did anything like this with my brothers. Well, only Wei and Wing would have agreed, and they're kind of exclusive sometimes. [ Huan and Baatar are not the sort to make daring escapes, usually. As far as Opal's aware. She supposes they could be hiding it.
She's pretty certain they're not, though. ]

Fire escapes. You can see Republic City from a whole different view on a rooftop.
[ he stands, and meticulously swipes at the dust that collected on his knees when he hoisted himself up, and pauses briefly. ]
So... we can either hang out here and wait for them to open the closet and not find us, or we could — speaking of rooftops — see where that window leads.
[ that one. over there.
you gotta give mako credit; he might not like this game but he sure is dedicated to getting out of it. ]

Hang out in a dusty attic or climb out a window and see what happens. Well - ]
We airbenders do like rooftops. It makes us feel closer to the sky. [ She's joking, but no, she's down to climb out the window, apparently. Though she's shutting the trap door, first. Let's see how long it takes their friends to figure out what happened. ]
I'm sure we'll hear the not-finding-us one way or the other, so we may as well go somewhere less dusty?
[ Also, she's curious how much more drastic this dramatic escape will get. It's sort of fun. ]

No wonder Bolin likes you so much; he's almost as airbender as an earthbender can get.
[ after a moment of struggle, the window is unlocked (and dirty, so this might be the only way to look outside, shh) and lifted up with a creaky struggle. they're lucky, the roof over the veranda is only a... ten foot drop. that's like, a little under a mako and a half, or slightly less than two opals. ]
