Captivity Meme



You've been captured -- or maybe you've been held captive for a while now. Whatever the case, you've lost your freedom, and there's a specific person responsible for that. You might be a prisoner, a mental patient, a kidnap victim, or someone's pet. Maybe you're there willingly, or maybe the choice has been taken away from you completely.

Rules
1. Leave a tag with your character. Be sure to include any limits on what you are willing to play, as this meme has the potential to be triggering.
2. Someone else tags in and uses RNG to generate a number between 1 and 9. The second character is holding the first character captive now.
3. ???
4. Profit!

Scenarios
1. For their own good. Either captive isn't aware of what they are doing has drastic consequences or applied knowledge is in favor of the captor. They are doing this to prevent the person from doing damage.

2. For the good of society. The captive is a not just a threat to themselves, but must be stopped. The captor must do this for the betterment of all.

3. Because they're not well. A possible doctor/ patient feel. The captive is unwell, mentally or physically. It could be a quarantine of some sort. Does the captor take pity? Do they know how to care for the ill?

4. For the money. Captor for higher. The captive is wanted for some reason. The captor may care, they may not. But it isn't personal. They're just getting paid.

5. For their love. It might be a case of yandere, or it might be a consenting BDSM relationship. Whether it's by mutual agreement or by force, you're keeping them simply because you love them.

6. Because they're cute and fluffy. A specimen of sorts. Or a pet. The captor is proud of collecting the captive.

7. Because they're your property. Slave? Livestock? Who cares what they think - they're your property, and you decide their fate.

8. For the lulz. A prank, payback? You'll let them go, once you're done laughing and snapping photos... maybe.

9. Choose a scenario, or combine several.

Hope couldn’t believe that she was being kept in this manor against her will. It wasn’t as if she couldn’t handle herself. She wasn’t only a vampire but she was a witch. She never felt right about calling herself a hybrid. She hadn’t triggered the werewolf part of her heritage. That didn’t mean that she wasn’t born to be everything that everyone had been afraid of. [She's here because she's the medical property of a corporation, and it's actually the same with Bruce. The powers that be have found that it cuts down on the number of staff casualties if he's responsible for the first medical assessments of new 'inventory,' as they term it. While Bruce isn't unconflicted about his role in this situation, life locked in a lab is certainly preferable to life strapped drooling to a table. Furthermore, he is good with people, and Sarah is about to go into a situation where precious few people will look at her or speak to her like she's human. He's glad to be an exception to that rule.

That isn't to say he expects the first appointment to be pleasant or easy; he's sure no one has provided her with any of this context, so when he appears in the doorway, an unassuming figure in chinos and loafers, pens in his pockets and a clipboard in hand, he's braced for hostility, profanity, and possibly even projectiles if she's managed to get the cuffs off.]

[Lucifel tilts his head as he looks the captive over. This angel with the same name as his younger brother, who is, technically, the same angel as his brother, except from a different universe. But even so, even if he is Michael, they couldn't just let him run wild and let him do as he wishes to get home on his own. They have a certain duty to keep the humans safe and keep balance and all that jazz.

The elders were all buzzing about what to do, too.

[Bruce isn't Steve's property, exactly; the official story is that he's the property of the US Army, which probably actually technically makes two of them. The difference being, Steve has stayed, while Bruce had tried to run.

Frankly, looking through the little glass window at the state of the man who had supposedly killed hundreds, Steve is thinking pretty long and deep about whether or not he's going to continue to be quite so cooperative. Yes, the military has been good to him since he woke up... but keeping their good will isn't high on his priority list right at this particular moment. He's seen POW's, seen people involved in human experimentation, and he doesn't like seeing it on his side.

He brushes off the sharp exclamations of Bruce's guards, the warnings of the doctors on site responsible for regulating the cocktail of horse tranquilizers they're keeping him hopped up on, and approaches the table where the man is strapped down, shooting a sharp glance over his shoulder that dissuades the army men from following him in here.
