a) dorm life - sharing a living space with lots of other people your own age can be an adventure on it's own. roomies can be your best friends or a nightmare. but it's guaranteed you won't leave without a story or two.

b) toga! toga! toga! - it's a toga party ala animal house! or maybe another themed party. it's most likely frat-tastic. but hey, the key is to mingle. maybe even hook up or get into a fight. ~~or both.~~

c) go team go! - whether it's tailgating or you're at the game, you're there to root for the home team. or just... be seen. or for the beer/food.

d) study study so mr. a will be your buddy - college can actually be about schooling! in the library, in the dorms, on the quad, with a friend, a lover, a tutor, it doesn't matter where or who you get your study on with, just that you rock that exam.

e) sock on the door - you know what that means. it's time to get busy beneath the sheets (or on top, why not?) in a bed built for one. hopefully your roommate will respect the rule.

f) shots! shots! shots! - let's face it, college can be one giant keg party if you let it. and hey, what's that? there's a kegger tonight? better go and get your drink/high/beer pong/ridiculous behavior on. time to make some of those mistakes you're supposed to 'learn' from!

g) morning after - remember those mistakes you were supposed to learn from? well you can't exactly remember them. waking up on the lawn or in your bed or someone else's doesn't help that much either. and who is this next to you? is that a new tattoo or just a sharpie dick on your face? it's up to you.

h) spring break! - to the beach, to the ski lodge, time to go on an adventure with friends or on your own. check out the slopes or senor frogs, just try to avoid the dreaded hangover.

i) wild card! do what you want! there's no paternal supervision anyways. (bonus points for someone who does a paintball episode)

[He's not uncomfortable at all. On the contrary, this was really nice.]

[Bucky tried to hide his smile and shrugged.]

Yeah. Not bad. I mean, it could be better, but I'd have to get a closer look. And touch it. You know, to really tell if it's better than average.

[It is. He knows already.]

[Steve is busy trying to hide his own amused look.

He looks down at the casual and loose pants he was wearing.]

I suppose you really can't get a good look or feel in these. Should I change to another pair?

[Bucky looks down at his pants to determine what should be done.]

That might help. Something short and tight, maybe.

[Well, there are those shorts he only rarely wears because people get too touchy-feely with him whenever he goes out in them.]

I suppose I do have something that fits the bit. But what will you give me if I do?

[He thought Steve might actually be considering it, which gets Bucky very interested.]

What do you want?

[Because he just has to ask.]

[Hm...that's a good question. He hasn't actually thought too much ahead about it.]

I don't know...how much is getting to see me walk around in too tight shorts AND touching worth to you?

A lot.

[Steve can ask for just about anything.]

But if you can't think of something right now, you can save it. Like an IOU.

[It's far too cold for shorts and the only reason he has this pair because Natasha has ideas and won't take no for an answer. It's very short and tight. When he gets back downstairs he does an exaggerated twirl in place.]

Verdict?

[Bucky sits up a little and waits anxiously. He can't believe Steve is really doing this. There's more to him than Bucky first thought. Maybe he's got a hidden naughty side that's dying to come out.]

Wow.

[That's all he can say at first. And he can't stop smiling. Ahem. He can see quite a lot and his imagination can do the rest.]

[He's never minded making fun of himself though this wasn't exactly the same as that, it was close enough that he doesn't mind doing it with Bucky.

At least Bucky will ask for permission before groping. And he's flattered by the non-stop smiling and staring for once.]

I'll assume it passes the visual test then.

[It's not as easy as holding himself back from groping as he makes it look. He'd very much like to grope right now.]

Definitely. And the touch test?

[Steve pretends nonchalance for a moment.]

Oh I suppose. It'll be bad for me to not let you carry on this all important test of my ass since you've already done the vision test. Go on.

[Bucky stands up and walks over to Steve. He thinks he'd better take the chance while he can; before Steve changes his mind. Instead of walking around Steve to the back, he stands in front of him and reaches around to cup his ass, then give it a gentle squeeze, which means he has to stand quite close.]

Guess I do have to upgrade you from 'not bad'.

[This close, he could smell the cologne Bucky was using and it smells good, really good on him. The gentle squeeze on his ass felt unexpectedly nice too. He leaned down close enough to kiss.]

To...what? Just right? Still not A+?

I'm still deciding.

[He murmured with a slight smile, then closed the space between them to try and kiss Steve gently. His hands stayed where they were, since he really did like having them there, and Steve didn't appear to mind.]

This okay as a bribe?

[Steve returned the kiss just as carefully and his hands hung awkwardly at his sides before settling them at Bucky's hips.]

[Bucky smiled and nuzzled Steve's lips. He could tell Steve's actions were a little awkward, but he didn't mind.]

I wasn't sure you liked me.

[But walking around in his underwear was probably a good sign.]

At the party, I mean.

[Steve doesn't really have a lot of practice with this. He kisses the corner of Bucky's lips, then the jaw.]

I didn't realize you actually liked me that way until the next morning. [Steve shrugs, looking a bit embarrassed.

A friend of mine says I'm kinda slow about things like this...I did tell you that I need big hints earlier, right?

The next morning?

[He wonders what finally tipped Steve off, or if it just dawned on him like the sun.]

Well. Pretty sure I got your hint.

[He looks down at Steve's body again and smiles.]

I feel a little over-dressed, though.

Oh...One of my art teachers got me in the habit of doing an art diary every day...I started trying to sketch you and... [He shrugs, looking a bit embarrassed.]

I figured there wasn't any harm in me being more direct.

[Steve grins and looks Bucky up and down.]

I wouldn't say no if you joined me like this.

You drew me?

[Bucky can't contain his amused smile, very interested in this.]

How about we go to your room?

[He thinks Steve's roommates wouldn't prefer being greeted by Steve and his date in their underwear on the couch.]

Just a sketch. Nothing much.

[If he had the time he'd like to do a proper drawing or painting.]

Yeah sure.

[Steve knows his roommates has done worse drunk but he does want more privacy than the living room of a shared house. He leads the way up the stairs and opened the door, allowing Bucky to go in first.]

[Bucky followed, and once he was let into Steve's room he took a moment to look around. It probably differed from his own in some ways, but he's sure he'd learn a few things about Steve based on this intimate space. A person's room said a lot about them.]

Maybe I'll have to pose for you then, but only if you promise never to show it to anyone.

[Steve's room was mostly neat and clean with sketchbooks, art supplies and textbooks spread out in piles here and there along with exercise equipment.]

Even nude? And don't worry, I definitely won't sure those to anyone else.
