It's that damn plurk meme. Sort of.

This is the Sleeping Meme. Plain and simple, your character is sleeping with another one. While sharing a bed and sleeping together with someone is very intimate, smut is not necessary.
 

What do:
1) Post with your character. Name and canon go in the subject line.

There was no Witch more independent than Lily Evans Potter. In fact she prided herself on it. She could - and would! - make it on her own. Yet, behind closed doors, the red-head had a way of letting her barriers down. Her husband, in particular, was privy to that side of her.

Which was why he was currently wrapped up in her arms. Her face was pressed against his back and her hair was a tumbled chaos of dark red against the pillow. This was her favorite position for sleep, though there were times she wondered if James was just as comfortable.

"Are you awake?"

James more of less hums in response at first, in that blissful state between awake and worrying and dead to the world asleep. He can fall asleep anywhere if he needs to and the past year has given him plenty of chances to sleep on the ground and hospital chairs and lumpy sofas that should be burned as a kindness. But there's nothing like their bed, his and Lily's, his and his wife's. He's comfortable anywhere, honestly but Lily is different here, she snuggles in closer every night and he loves it as much as she does.

"Whatever you want, Lils, but you have to get on top this time."

His reply earns a soft sound of amusement and Lily lifts her head, expression quizzical:

"Is that really conducive to sleep?" not that she minds using him as both a pillow and a mattress. Let's be honest, it won't be the first time she acts as his blanket. Since their graduation he has been a steady point of comfort and security. She will happily sleep in hospital chairs or lumpy sofas just to know he's okay.

He has to be okay.

Maybe having a few weaknesses isn't so bad, after all? Smiling softly, she slides her body over his and presses a soft kiss to his lips.

"Sorry, you wanted to sleep?" He smiles softly and leans in to brush his nose against hers, a little eskimo kiss just because he can. Because they're married and he's never been shy about giving her affection anyway, whether someone's watching or they're alone.

"I thought you wanted to chat. Or shag."
