It's that damn plurk meme. Sort of.

This is the Sleeping Meme. Plain and simple, your character is sleeping with another one. While sharing a bed and sleeping together with someone is very intimate, smut is not necessary.
 

What do:
1) Post with your character. Name and canon go in the subject line.
2) Include your preferences.
3) Tag around.
4) If you tag, pick a letter from A-H according to the diagram above. Ta-da. That's the position the characters are sleeping in.

He hadn't started out in Steve's room; his intentions had never been to end up in Steve's room. Or, at least, that's what he was telling himself. Sometime during the night his wants, a part of him that was still buried under years of conditioning and wiping urged him to slip out of his room and into Steve's, silently slipping into bed with the other and curling up against his back.

Why his arm was wrapped tightly around the other now and his face was buried against Steve's neck, Bucky couldn't really explain.

But it was comfortable and warm and it was safe--that was the important part. It was the main reason why he couldn't be bothered to move when he finally woke up, eyes lidded as he stayed pressed close, relishing in the feel of just being human for the moment.

It had taken him months to get comfortable sleeping in the same bed as Steve again. He was afraid his nightmares would make him hurt the other man.

But his nerves had finally started to settle, some of his old habits and mannerisms started to return, Like spreading out and blanketing over Steve. But now now sleeping with the man is like sleeping with a space heater.

So at some point he's kicked the blankets down the the foot of the bed, and started using Steve's stomach as a pillow. It's unseasonable warm for october in New York, but he's finally starting to feel like he's come home.

Steve blinked slowly awake. His eyes slipped closed again as he realized Bucky was in bed with him. He wasn't 100 percent sure if it was his nightmares or Bucky's that found them in this position.

[ It's so easy to fall asleep into yet a(nother?) accidental sleepover once the night falls, exhaustion taking over, and finally, the chattering subdues into peaceful silence that can only be found when these kids are sleeping.

Perhaps they've gone back home before something takes place, or perhaps they went home even later. Two things for sure: 1) They ditched Hiro, and 2) It's apparent that in his deep state of unconsciousness, Handa's enjoying this moment of getting curled under...someone's hold, even if lightly.

Let him enjoy this moment, please, he's probably never been held like this before, being a loner loser... ]

It was a rare vacation for them, they are staying in some cabin that is way to fancy for either of their tastes but it's nice.

He's using Steve's stomach as a pillow the rest of his body spread across the bed, at some point he's kicked the blankets off the bed, enjoying the breeze coming off the lake through the window.

[She's not sure at what point she fell asleep. What she is sure of is that the arm around her waist when she wakes prompts a moment of blind, paralyzing panic before she realizes who it is. Then it's more a question of the 'how' and 'why', and though she really wants to find out, Sanageyama is surprisingly comfortable beneath her, and before long, she finds herself settling back in against him. She's careful to try not to jostle him too much, but there's only so much space for her to move without disturbing him.

She can only hope he'll wake soon, so she can get an answer to her question before deciding what else to make of the situation.]
