He had half a mind to thank the memory of Madara, Obito, even Kaguya, for Naruto's sorry state without the whole of the kyuubi still inside him. For reducing the blond to what he really was, a nobody, nothing particularly special without the fox acting as a fucking chakra battery inside him.

Sasuke, on the other hand, was far from spent. No, no, he felt good, strong, still powerful. His eyes, though, told him that all Naruto had left was the energy it took his body cells to keep living. Killing the other would be easy.

...But first.

First.

Because this was also the last, the last opportunity he was going to have for this. And it was perfect, with no one conscious but them and Kakashi, and their sensei too ruined from combat to even follow them here...

Sasuke swung his leg around, shoving the brat off his side and then bringing it down on Naruto's other side so that both feet stood next to the blond's hips, astride him, letting Sasuke loom over the other. The other, the brat, the usuratonkachi, on his back in the dirt, finally ruined under him.

Sasuke wasn't done ruining him completely yet.

Without a word, without preamble, he dropped to his knees, wrapped his left hand around the other's jaw to keep him still, and crushed his mouth against the blond's, tongue forcing itself past the dobe's lips.
