[It really hadn't been the most *honest* of situations. But that initially was Fury's fault, not his. He was in an intensive care unit, trying not to bleed out on the table from a nicked ventracle when Nick Fury told the Avengers about his untimely demise, and ruined his beloved trading cards.

Afterwards--the decision to take a deep covert mission in afria, to cut all ties and remain 'dead' for all intensive purposes? That had been his decision. The Avengers had been handling themselves all right, for the most part, and his servcies were needed elsewhere.

But then a year later, Nick put in the call that he needed to come back out from under. And of course, the esteemed secret agent wasn't interested in telling the team about Phil's faked death.

No, that fell to him.

So he'd start with Stark, first. Get the worst out of the way.

Bypassing the security codes on the elevator (Tony really does need to work on that), he leaned against the door, giving a tight smile when he saw the billionare.]

[Sometimes, Aerith would go to the church when it was empty, like some ghostly apparition. A comparison that strikes her as funny, but she actually likes the idea of it in a way. The church still brings her this strange, settled peace, even in the after life. There were times that she needed that serenity to gather her thoughts.

Today is one of those times. The Lifestream was a bit of a mess, after Deepground started throwing people into it to activate Omega WEAPON. Many confused/lost/angry souls to take care of, and she feels strained.

So, when she appears in the church it's beside the pool of water, her face slightly troubled as she looks down at her reflection.]

[Not long after the Warriors Three and Lady Sif went to the Allfather and found Loki upon the throne, Fandral went off to his chambers to have some time to himself. Volstagg had gone with him, since it was on the way to the kitchens. He was, well...he was quite shook up about it all.

He sat in front of a mirror, combing through his hair. He couldn't have done so for more than a minute before he tossed it down in frustration, crossed his arms, and leaned back in the chair with a great sigh.

He had to do something. Hogun would probably get onto him in his quiet way if he knew what he intended, but he honestly had to be completely sure. They were all so quick to think him a traitor, but there was a great difference between causing a few spouts of minor, controlled chaos and...this.

In the same clothing, less than an hour later, Fandral the Dashing and not another soul with him walked right into the chamber where Odin usually resided. Down on one knee with his arm across his chest and head lowered just slightly, he cleared his throat.]
