There’s no real push to your actions; you do them as if they were second nature. Perhaps, initially, you were assigned this role, as protector and guardian of this person. Maybe you took it on because there was no one else. A natural guardian or not, good or evil, you caught a shining to them and felt…something. Something hard to explain, but you want to keep them safe and happy - or at the very least, content. No one is as dedicated to them as you. You want them to reach their goals; to help them achieve them, you'll do what you must, even if it means being their gofer or their right hand. But most of all, you don't want them to end up like you. They're worth more than that. Yet somehow, along the line, you became more to them, more than just their protector. You protect them anew and you've found a different way to make them happy. It's selfish, too, because you love them in your way and you want them more than anything. You may feel guilty, of course. They don't, though, and that's what matters. Right now, you two have a rare moment to yourselves. There are special matters to attend to. Continue to do your duty. Comment with your character, preferences, and what you'd prefer to play: protector or protected. Remember, you don't have to be so rigid. A traditionally weak character can "protect" a traditionally strong one in emotional ways. Reply to others.

Wally wasn't certain exactly what was going on. He had a feeling somewhere, at the back of his mind, that there was something weird about this whole thing. But he couldn't quite place his finger on it and he had been running through the streets a moment ago, hadn't he?

It was just that... now the city was a lot darker, clouds blotting out the previously light skies, and there was a tingling feeling crawling up his spine and generally making him feel like something was about to go horribly wrong. Though he had no idea why. At least he wasn't entirely alone; while the streets were otherwise empty, he did recognise the one man out in the open, and it was something of a relief to see him here as well.

"Kind of a sudden weather change, don't you think?" Wally remarked, making his way over to the other man's side. "Should have brought my umbrella."

She was powerless, feeble, pathetic, unable to use her abilities, to break the handcuffs embracing her good-for-nothing wrists or blow off the bars of the cell she was kept in. Her memories were hazy and she could barely remember of her capturers' face or voice but she remembered their smell and the things they'd talked about. She knew what would happen to her, and it was enough to give another try to smash her head against the wall.

She couldn't tell who was the other person in the cell. Maybe she should tell them what she's about to do and warn them not to watch? Or help them to run away from here before the same thing would happen to them, too? Apacci was not sure about it, and she could only hope that the other person was ready to help her.]

The annual Gala. Yes, ShinRa billed it as a charity event, but whatever money the event attracted paled in comparison to the subtle political maneuvering that was the real purpose. Somehow he was still here - mostly caused by the President having one more person that Sephiroth just had to meet.

Now it was late and the liquor had everyone much less 'formal' now and he could feel Scarlett as well as a half dozen others looking in his direction. Time to stage a very quick and very stealthy exit.

"General!" Sephiroth choked down a wince and turned to look at the woman clad in enough red to make Genesis blanch headed in his direction.

"Director." He nodded, terse but polite and locked both hands behind him. This wasn't going to be fun at all. He smoothly slid out of the way of her first attempt to drape a hand on his shoulder.

As she engaged him in further conversation, trying to get closer with each passing second. Seconds in which his patience continued to dwindle even further until he got that look on his face. The one that spelled trouble if she tried to touch him again.
