THE MINDFUCK MEME

This is not a very nice meme! Many if not all options are potentially triggering. Please use your best judgment before participating.

Options:

1. I Own You: You know—beyond a shadow of a doubt—that you own this person. Furthermore, you're more than willing to break them down until they accept it as truth. All that they are—mind, body, and soul—is yours. They should have known that from the beginning. Now they'll know it 'til the end.

2. We're One and the Same: You're two sides of the same coin. You practically own each other! No one else will ever complete them the way you can. You're twins. Brothers from another mother (or was that the same mother?). They won't get away—they shouldn't even desire to. Good thing you're ready to help.

3. Nobody Has Ever Loved You (Like I Do): The person before you clearly doesn't understand how worthless they are; everyone they've ever loved will and should leave them to rot. The only thing they have left—the one creature that doesn't despise them utterly—is you. They should probably start groveling at your feet for such patience and mercy.

4. By Your Bedside: You love them. You love them utterly, and just look at the thanks you get. Look how they've betrayed you! Ruthlessly! Talking to others—looking at others. Disgusting. You aren't going to allow it anymore. They need to understand the importance of your love.

5. You're a Doll, Doll: Some people just don't get it. They think they have basic human rights the same as anyone else! They don't view themselves as puppets or pets to be played with. They don't understand that they belong on a leash or sitting pretty on a shelf. Poor darlings! Lucky for them you've taken an interest in setting them straight.

6. Stop Forcing My Hand: It's not your fault you're tying them down! It isn't your fault they need to be disciplined! They making you. They stared at you with those eyes! They asked how you wanted your coffee! You wish they could apologize enough for such atrocities. You'd love to let them go. You don't want to do this. You're the real victim here.

7. Kiss Me and Smile at Me: Time for a little mindcontrol up in here! With this prompt, the other person is completely under your control. Tell them to jump, they jump. Tell them to beg—oh. There will be begging. Unfortunately, the effect isn't always complete and sometimes your target knows they're being toyed with. Too fucking bad.

8. Such a Child: If this kid doesn't want to listen and do as they're told, it's high time you start treating them like the little brat they are. Up to you how far this goes, although spanking isn't a bad start. And who cares if they're actually younger or technically older—they need to learn to listen when adults are speaking.

9. A Permanent Stain: All right. All right. You'll be fine as long as you leave this mark on them. Maybe a couple (hundred) bruises will do, or perhaps a tattoo is more your style. A piercing? Sure! Or five. Whatever—all you know is you need something physical to show your connection. Stake your claim and stake it hard.

10. Escape Cockblocker: You've got containing your target down to an art form. You know all their weaknesses and exactly what shackles fit them best. You can keep their powers at bay and break their spirit (or profess your adoration!) at your leisure. Your expertise in keeping the other right where you want them is absolute.

11. BRUTALITY K.O.: It's easy to be dark and brooding. It's simple to concoct a sinister scheme or two. Violence, however, helps drive a point home with bruising finesse. All it takes is a little brainwashing between punches and voila! You've got your message across. They'll learn to love you for it in no time at all.

12. Feeling Superior: This one is all about rank. Either you're sick of chilling on the lowest rung, or you've always had the upper-hand. Doesn't matter; you're in charge now. Call it a promotion, if you will. Call it learning to excel.

13. Semi-Genderbender: You've always thought of the person before you as a distinctly different gender. It doesn't matter how they identify, you've clearly got the right idea about this. So, you might as well start pushing it. Dresses, manly trousers—pronoun-fuckery all up in here. What about scheduling them for a few… 'enhancing' surgical procedures?

14. You Don't See Me: Sensory deprivation, anyone? This is pretty standard stuff. Take away their voice, take away their eyes— take away sound or taste or touch. Use magic, use devices, use whatever comes to mind. After all, they didn't really need all five senses. That's just greedy! Four—three at most and they'll be sitting pretty under your 'unique' care.

15. Creepozoid's Choice!: Pick any of the options above or a 15th of your own devising. Remember, 15 is always an open option if you'd rather not roll, or if you're looking for a mixture of options.

[The ink is a little thicker now, so Konoka thinks back to it. Yes, this was clearly the right answer. Why did she doubt it.]

I come from Labyrinthia! I'm sure of it!

Then why were you speaking of things outside Labrynthia? Everyone knows there isn't anything outside these walls.

[This really was all to easy. She despised the Storyteller but the tricks he had laid out were useful for anyone clever to use them.]

[Konoka kept telling herself to think fast. So long as she sounded convincing, she didn't have to believe it at the core. If she managed to find this real enemy, she could escape at some later date.]

That's because... I was under a curse! The witch Bezella cursed me with something! I-I don't understand how it worked!

What if I don't believe you?

Ah! B-b-but it's true! I've always lived here!

[She doesn't know why, but something is stirring inside her, some horrible little thing that told her that her previous life was but a lie. Maybe Bezella really did curse her. With someone else's memories. Bit by bit, it became the truth despite her not wanting it to be.]

I don't know why. My memories are all messed up. I don't know who these other memories belong to.

That was all a dream. Just a bad dream.

[That's a good girl.]

[She was always here, right? Wasn't she? The ink was pretty strong, and everything suddenly felt so hazy. She was just here, right? She didn't believe she was part of some witchcraft plot, right?]

When do I get to wake up?

[Her voice is soft, almost weak.]

[She places a finger underneath her chin, lifting Konoka's head ever so slightly. The tip of her glove so gently starts to scratch the skin.

Much like how a person might scratch a dog.]

[The ink seemed to smell stronger this time, perhaps because she was driven more by its effect. All of her previous life, except for her small stay in Labyrinthia, seemed to fade into a haze.

It was why scratching her chin seemed to be so soothing. But what now? Was she still on trial? How could she help this woman and prevent her own casting into the fires?]

One last time, what is your occupation and where are you from?

[It's almost finished. This girl work nicely.]

I'm just a simple medic studying alchemy in Labyrithia.

[Healing abilities die hard, but since the woman had so mercifully told her there were legal healing arts in Labyrinthia, it was the first thing she latched onto in her hazy mind.]

Good girl.

[There's another scratch at her chin. This girl would be useful indeed.]

[It was amazing what a simple gesture could do to someone blindfolded, bound, and completely shaken by her senses and memories betraying her. She actually cooed a bit when her chin was scratched again. So when was she going to be let go? Or would she? Was this captivity actually going to be safer for her? No... that couldn't be right. Could it?]

[Well...there was always a chance it would be better if this girl simply disappeared from Labrynthia entirely. Not to die, of course but there was a secret place. One where this girl's healing abilities may be useful.]

You seemed to like that.

It feels soothing. I can't move, so...

[Her voice sounds hopeful, but at the same time she can't voice her desire to get free. All she can do is wait.]

You want me to let you go.

[It's an easy guess. She's not sure she wants to. Not quite. She runs her finger upwards, tracing the line of her jaw.]

I wonder if you would listen if I undid you bounds, hm.

Y-yes, yes I would!

[Konoka sounded eager. It was her only chance at freedom, and yet she still knew she was entirely at this woman's mercy. Freedom may or may not come. It was something she could only hope for. Or even wonder if she was ready for. After all, knowing that most of your life was a lie could do something nasty to your psyche.]

Hm... I'll untie the bonds on your hands if you won't touch your other bonds. However. You haven't proven your loyalty yet.

[She touches the prisoner's lips.]

You'll have to lose another one of your senses. What next? Speech, perhaps? Or would you rather be deaf?

W-why would you do that?

[Konoka's voice has a lot of worry to it. But she also feels something else when the woman touches her lips. She almost certainly wants something from her beyond her cooperation.]

If you steal my voice, how can I say anything. If I can't hear, how will I know what you say?

It's easy to say that you're loyal, isn't it?

[Maybe she does. Maybe she doesn't. Maybe it's just fun to tease a prisoner like this.]

I can't just let you go just yet

[And Konoka can't tell the difference. She's shivering, and something deeper inside her told her she wanted to play this game, no matter how humiliating it was.]

Why not? Please let me go.

[Her innocent voice may not help matters.]

[It...really is just so tempting to keep her here for a little while longer.]

Why should I?

Well umm...

[She was an inquisitor, right? Shouldn't she have other business? But then again, what would stop her from just putting Konoka in a cell? Konoka couldn't even trust her own memories to come up with an answer.]

I'm innocent! I told you, I did nothing wrong!

[She takes her hand away.]

Could you prove it?

I thought I did! I'm just a worker here and someone accused me of doing arts I normally couldn't do because Bezella put a curse on me!

[There's a bit of worry in her voice, because she's sure Darklaw guided her. Had she led her into a trap?]
