Sometimes, it's not a particular kink you're looking for, but a particular character who can scratch an itch. With more focus on the pain, the psychological impact and the fear than on oops I guess your guts are outside your body now let me stick my dick in there. Situations where a character is placed in peril, like say with a bomb rigged to blow if they move an inch, those are the kind of guro and snuff scenarios I love to play out. Once I read a story where a guy was battered and bloody and rigged to explode, and his abuser left him where his friends were certain to find him. The humiliation of being helpless, the fear of being saved, that's the psychological aspect I dig.

As for two victims with an unimportant NPC tormenter, I'm thinking a sadistic game of sorts where one victim can maybe survive... but only if they sacrifice their friend who's trapped in the same situation. Kinda like in Saw only without the army of bad sequels.

PREFERENCES
I prefer to play the sub/bottom. But some of the characters I have are fairly bossy, so I also enjoy scenarios where they're dominant bottoms. My favorite though would be having my character give control to another, either willingly or reluctantly, though I'm a little hesitant about dub/non-con. I tend to like my smut with a heavy dose of love (and even a lot of emphasis on that in tags), rather than things like one night stands. Though angry!sex can also be pretty great.

➔ Incest. In the form of older brother/younger brother, preference for playing the younger. Not necessarily interested in playing out the "wrongness" of it/needing to keep it hidden so much as them being the only ones they have, the older one's need to protect the younger, etc. Perhaps with the older party being reluctant but the younger talks them into it or reassures them that they're not taking advantage.
