Mostly because I'm surprised we've never had this kind of meme before. We love high school AUs. We love romance. Why not combine those into a glorious mix?

Your teen years are important, formatively speaking. You're trying to find out just where you belong and what kind of person you're going to be. This already daunting task is complicated by the soul-sucking demon known as high school. If you weren't having a hard time before coming here, you certainly are now.

Add into this mixture raging hormones, and baby, you've got a misery stew cooking. But it's not all bad! Sometimes high school crushes can be sweet, and the occasional high school relationship lasts.

So whether you're too cool or distracted for romance or always on to the next good looking stud, come on down and try to navigate the romantic labyrinth that is the halls of Bakerstreet High.

• Comment with your character and preferences. Needless to say, aging down and AUing is welcomed and probably necessary. Have fun with it! Feel free to include a short blurb about your character's Bakerstreet High self. Are they popular? The class clown? A drifter? A band geek?

[It was like Marisa had a permanent seat in detention. Sure, she got away with more things than she got caught doing, but she got caught enough that it was just assumed the girl would always be in detention. What was odd was the band geek being there.

Okay, maaaaaaaaybe it was because Marisa had slipped the sheet music for the Simpsons theme into the pep band's version of Night Train and stuck around just long enough to hear them start playing it an Nonon to flip her lid on her over it. The yelling had pulled a teacher's attention and landed them both in detention.

When the teacher overseeing detention left them alone for some reason or another, Marisa set her assignments aside and propped her feet up on the desk. She was in the back corner of the room and Nonon was in the opposite one, so she couldn't see the blonde or the look in her eye. Out came Marisa's cell phone and it took very little digging to get Nonon's cell number.

A moment later, Nonon's phone chimed with a text message.]

Today she's chasing after her Master, down an empty hallway, with the orange light from the setting sun pouring in through the windows. Everyone else has gone home, but Rin's been waiting all day to see Satori, having apparently missed her each time today. She's finally built up the courage to confess her feelings (as if they weren't already completely transparent) and she won't let Satori go home without saying what she has to say. ]

Chikage, one of the newest additions to Beacon had quickly become famous for two things. The first was that he was excellent in his work. His sword skills were second to none and he constantly studied for the more academic portions of the curriculum. He was above average to say the least, but he didn't rub it in anyone's face. In fact that carried into the second thing he was famous for.

He kept himself rather isolated from the rest of Beacon. Anyone who was ill-advised enough to try to try to carry out a conversation usually found small answers or a wall of silence. Those few girls who wanted to ask him out after he had preformed well in his sword demonstrations found themselves instantly rejected.

He wasn't a cruel person lashing out at people. It was more like he had a wall built around him that no one could seem to get past.
